Democrats and their liberal leaders decry a system that does not "support the poor," and yet no Democrat ever thinks of "freedom" outside of lascivious permissiveness and open and easy accessabilty?

When listening to Senators during Supreme Court nominee hearings and politics coast to coast, it is sexual promiscuity that takes precedence.

In Casey vs. Planned Parenthood abortion was mentioned by a Republican Senator (Spector) as a birth control method.

Why does sexual promiscuity take on such importance to Democrats and non-conservatives?

Now, that's strange, considering that as far as I am converned, there is no significant difference between the Democrats and Republicans. There is only a hair's-breadth difference between their official platforms.

Notice, for example, that controlling the House, Senate, and the Presidency, your Republicans have not even tried to ban abortion. Could it be that like the Democrats the Republicans want to keep the status quo?

You also accuse the Democrats of "wanting your money". But over the last 25-30 years it has been the Republicans who have exemplified out-of-control spending. Democrats have been reletively restrained, producing the only balanced budgets among the various administrations. Our current spending is at an unsupportable level, and is set to only increase.

Nevertheless, since the DEmocrats failed to form any opposition when it mattered, immediately after 9/11, I will never vote for them again. How about voting for the Greens? They don't want either your money nor your children's bodies.

It is easy to balance a budget when you take money from hard working and honest families in high taxes. Democrats have almost nothing of worth to offer honest and morally decent people.

Republicans at least do not denigrate and legislate against Christianity by the kinds of lies the Democrats use. With the GOP you know what they stand for and what they'll do.

Perhaps you should consider actually getting to know the issues before you post. The Republicans have had a majority in both houses, and the presidency for 5 years, yet they have done nothing to roll back Roe vs Wade. A better question might be, "Why are REPUBLICANS so hung up on sex, and refuse to address anything of actual importance?"

Bottom line is, I frankly don't give a crap about gays. Let them marry, who are they harming? I don't give a crap about a few fetuses. There are real, fully developed, rationalizing, emotion bearing human beings in our VERY country suffering right now. I think I will focus on them before turning all attention to the poor little cell groupings.

I find it interesting that Republicans will get so involved in that one little instance where a small group of Muslims killed a couple thousand people, but turn a blind eye to the millions starving to death worldwide (and within our own borders), the many thousands who are felled by guns (EACH YEAR), the widespread extinction of the American middle class, eratication of hundreds of species and habitats human beings depend on, the impending energy crisis, the fluctuating budget, the casting of the common worker into full fledged Middle Age feudalism, the abridgment of religious and secular freedoms, ect ect ect ect ect ect ect.

I mention these sorts of things, and you actually accede to the their danger and reality. Yet you IMMEDIATELY bring up your two hot button issues, as if the conservative's stance on these is supposed to rectify the numerous aformentioned monstrocities.

Do you ever worry that you are placing too much emphasis of these two issues? Really, we all get it. Gays are nasty. Abortion kills blobs of cells. But what does this matter, in the grand scheme of things? Are they really worthy of the massive amount attention you grant them? Are you willing to sacrafice everything else (the economy, the poor, the environment, human rights, forign policy, the precious 1st ammendment) in order to save the darling fetuses and deny homosexuals equal rights?
