What is the Islamic view of Heaven?

I have a general question for our Muslim members. I will admit that my knowledge of Islam is minimal, but there is a question I would like to raise. What do Muslims believe heaven will be like?

I hear all the time that Muslim men who die for their faith in a Jihad will be "rewarded" with multiple virgins in heaven.

This makes heaven sound like a porn fantasy for Muslim men. Does the Islamic faith really promise this, or is it another example of radical Islamists misusing the faith?
