Origin of non-christian religions

Post by wx47 »

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask question about origin of non-christian religions (this is my first post :-), I'm christian )
OK - so I've been thinking and idea came:
As a christian, I believe in God, his creation of universe . There are, however, other religions such as buddhism, taoism, muslim, etc.
They don't believe in God *AND* because God is one who created universe (and they don't believe in him), their gods doesn't exist. Because there is good (God) and then evil (absence of God) - and they don't believe in him, are they product of evil (I mean those religions) ?
Are they work of evil to draw attention not to God, but to something other ?
OK, and last question - (if answer to last question is yes) - are those people evil / bad becouse there are spreading their non-christian religion ? (maybe there don't mean to do bad thing - they believe that they are doing good, but unknowingly doing bad)

(DISCLAIMER: I do not want to harass or find excuse to disdain non-christian people, I just want to know answer to stated questions)

Many thanks

Happy, there is no such thing as "one true religion." All religions are man's attempts at connecting with a god.

So there is no religions at all?

Even you are a Christian because you follow others blindly?

Who is God?

No, there are hundreds of different religions.

I am not a Christian, at least not anymore.

There is no way to know who or what God is, each person or group defines God for himself/themselves. I am a panentheist, which means that I believe God is in all things. He is not a person, but more like a force.

No, there are only the heaven religions.

Religion means rules and principles sent from The One.

Yes, God is in all things because He creates everything. In His hands the kies of the heavens and the earth. Without Him, everything will vanish.
He makes your heart beats and your eyes see and your ears hear and mind to think. Do you think The Creator of eyes and ears and mind is blind, deaf and mindless?

A force without manager is useless and without a Creator is not existed.

I apperciate your respect to your mind and reject following others blindly. :D

No god but Allah.

I have an evidence that Islam is the true religion.

Is that evidence that only you can perceive or can I as well?

No, a miracle from our God Himself.

Are you hebrew? Sorry for this question.

That's interesting, I have heard christians tell me exactly the same thing, they know that Christianity is the one true religion because of a miracle. I am wondering what you think of those Christians and does that negate your evidence?

No, but I do read Hebrew and speak it, but not fluently.

Al hamdu lillah.

You can study Arabic too?

If there is one slight evidence for Christianity, I will follow it. I know there is nothing like any other religion in the world except Islam.

Do you know what is the meaning of Islam?

No, I don't study Arabic, but have learned a little bit just because of its similarities to Hebrew.

I think you missed my point. A Christian claims his religion is true because of a miracle from God. A Moslem claims his religion is a true because of a miracle from God. Both cannot be correct, either one or neither are, so which would it be?

I know that it is from the word salam meaning peace.

Thanks for your reply, you are a good man.

You know logic too. I like logic so much :)

Islam literally means submission. Msulim means who submit.

Islam as the name of my religion means submission to The One God.
The word Allah means The One God.

This is just an introduction to know Islam. So if you believe in The One God, you are a muslim.
Adam was a Muslim, Abraham was a muslim, Jesus and Moses and Muhammad are all Muslims peace be upon them.

Allah supportd every religion with a miracle suited its time and the people at that time like the stick of Moses for those who had great knowledge in magic and Jesus turned dead to life and healed uncurable diseases after Allah's permission at the time and his people had great knowledge in medicine.

Now, at the age of science and globalization, what do you think which miracle that suits us now and till the end of life?
