i am here starting this thread as to make my point on .. religion
that Sanatana Vedic Dharma which is also called hinduism is only true , and first most religion.
its distorted form today is hinduism as practiced.
any doubts on sanatana hindu religion can be asked here!!

i beleive that religions are true in some respect or another but are incomplete in themselves..
through the word only i seemed to specifically point to those religions which claim to be only true religions in themselves!!
otherwise no religion is completely wrong....

Hinduism is a most interesting belief system so far as I understand it ( and that’s not a lot I am afraid 
)
I am presuming you follow this belief in some way.
From what little I know it is very old and diverse, encompassing beliefs held in numerous religions, from my point of view that in its self is a good thing.
As I am very interested can you please elaborate on your opening statement by explaining why it is the only true religion?

ok i present a few views...
hinduism as believed by mostly today is not like that...
today people think
1. hinduism is polytheistic religion ========> wrong
2. hinduism believes in god with a body=====> wrong
3. hinduism believes in idol worship========> wrong
since hinduism began with perception of mankind, and we have the oldest scriptures as 'Vedas' which were given by god.
rest all scriptures were written by humans and were corrupted with time or even if not corrupted they can never be trusted and are to be read on the lines of vedas alone.
there are 4 vedas which encompass all the knowledge.
Vedas have not been textually corrupted till now by even a single letter.
(for if we believe god is powerful , he must be powerful enough to make a mechanism to preserve it).
no textual corruption in vedas
2. we believe god never takes birth and nor needs any agents or intermediates to be reached.
you can get an idea of concept of god here..
Vedic god
3. Vedas have no place for stories in them since they were from starting of mankind. secondly vedas also have no place for unscientific things..
it clearly rejects any concept of miracles.. they say that god himself has made laws of nature and never breaks them.. so miracles like splitting moon in two, healing with prayers have no place in vedas...

can you show a vedic reference for idol worship or for worship of the image you posted above?? please read my WHOLE comment from which you had quoted.
as you claim only quran is protected all other hadiths etc. cannot be trusted...
similarly only vedas can be trusted as in case of hindus only vedas are god given knowledge.
