Head to Head
Post #1I'm just wondering if there is a prefered way to challenge someone to a head to head debate. I really don't care who it is but I would enjoy the head to head experience. Should I just post in general chat what I want to debate and then wait for someone to respond? Thanks
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.
Hebrews 11:1-2
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
1 Peter 3:15
Test everything. Hold on to the good.
1 Thessalonians 5:21

What do you want the topic to be about, Christian Theology, Doctrine/Dogma etc...?
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" without being put to the test?
We have tested those before them, for GOD must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars.

Re: Head to Head
Post #4No offense but I would like to debate the rationality of God's existance and as you are also a believer, I wouldn't want to have you take a position you don't believe in. Thanks for the offer and when I want to debate more in depth theology (maybe in two weeks as you say) I will be sure to contact you.Murad wrote:I would gladly accept, but i can only start debating 2 weeks later (When i have alot of time off work).ByFaithAlone wrote:I'm just wondering if there is a prefered way to challenge someone to a head to head debate.
