When writing a post, if you use the quick tags (quote, bold, italics, etc...) They put them in and bring you back to the top of the post.
This is really annoying when responding to longer posts. You have to scroll back down and find where you left off.
Any way to fix this? Ive never seen this happen anywhere else!

Post #2Yeah it is! I do it a lot and my posts are really long; I wish it didn't do that.nygreenguy wrote:When writing a post, if you use the quick tags (quote, bold, italics, etc...) They put them in and bring you back to the top of the post.

I've found that this is a quirk with Firefox, but only on this particular forum, and that IE doesn't do it. However, I generally type all of the bbcode manually, so it's really not an issue.
Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

True that, it only seems to happen with Firefox. When using FF, I try to remember to type everything manually. It's still annoying when I forget, I use italic, bold and colors a lot...fewwillfindit wrote:I've found that this is a quirk with Firefox, but only on this particular forum, and that IE doesn't do it. But Firefox is helpful for catching misspellings. Plus it goes faster than IE, that's why I use it.Lucia wrote:True that, it only seems to happen with Firefox. Post #9You know, I've never noticed this. I always just type the code in manually.nygreenguy wrote:When writing a post, if you use the quick tags (quote, bold, italics, etc...) They put them in and bring you back to the top of the post.

OK, I've added a fix to this. I only tested this in Firefox and Safari, so hopefully it'll work also in other browsers.

I found that I tend to make mistakes when doing it manually.
Thanks
