Quote, bold, etc. bringing to top of post....

When writing a post, if you use the quick tags (quote, bold, italics, etc...) They put them in and bring you back to the top of the post.

This is really annoying when responding to longer posts. You have to scroll back down and find where you left off.

Any way to fix this? Ive never seen this happen anywhere else!

Yeah it is! I do it a lot and my posts are really long; I wish it didn't do that.

I've taken to just writing out the tags manually a lot of the time, and my longer posts are usually done in that manner but in a word processor for safety.

I've found that this is a quirk with Firefox, but only on this particular forum, and that IE doesn't do it. However, I generally type all of the bbcode manually, so it's really not an issue.

True that, it only seems to happen with Firefox. When using FF, I try to remember to type everything manually. It's still annoying when I forget, I use italic, bold and colors a lot...

But Firefox is helpful for catching misspellings. Plus it goes faster than IE, that's why I use it.
