God the Father? God the Son?

Is the ability to understand correctly the nature of Christ's divinity - and His relationship with God - fundamental to the salvation of the soul?

Hello Pastor Baz.
Welcome to the forum. Are you a real ordained pastor or merely using the word pastor as an online tag?

To answer your question, my opinion is that it is not necessary to salvation.
God looks on the heart not on anyones ability to correctly understand the nature of anyones divinity or relationship with God.

Without confirming the existence of Christ, His divinity, God, Christ's relationship with God, and whether or not any 'salvating' occurs, the question is, imo, rather meaningless.

If it was, no one would be saved. I've yet to see a coherent explanation of the trinity or a combination of any two of its parts.
