Hi there. I found this place on Google some time ago, and I've greatly enjoyed reading debates here.

I look forward to participating :)

Welcome Mythicsushi.

You were presented with a common false dichotomy. Many Christians seem to think that anyone who is not a fellow Christian must be an Atheist. In reality, there are many alternatives (rather than a "black or white choice"). One who is not Christian could be a Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Shintoist or any number of other religions -- or they could be Non-Theistic, Agnostic, Ignostic, or Atheist (or anywhere between).

You are wise to avoid being roped into a common "Christian false dichotomy" -- (black and white thinking, "with us or against us", "no shades of gray") etc (which often accompanies fundamentalist / literalist indoctrination).
.
Non-Theist

ANY of the thousands of "gods" proposed, imagined, worshiped, loved, feared, and/or fought over by humans MAY exist -- awaiting verifiable evidence

Whoops, perhaps Zzyzx is right. My question probably was to black and white, but it was un-intended. It's a bad habit of mine to assume that a theist automatically is a christian.

My question should have been what are your theological beliefs O:)
