Hi folks,
Just joined your forum tonight. Spent several hours reading posts and loving it. I have been wondering for years if a place like this existed, where one could talk religion openly. I am an Atheist with lots of questions for Christians. I'm hoping that I'll be able to find answers here. I'm not much of a debater, so most of my comments will be straight questions if that's okay. Hope to chat with you all sooner or later.

Hi ATS, welcome to the forum.
Most of us are just amateur debaters, so you should fit in nicely.
As you may have already observed, it is a bit difficult at times to get straight answers from Biblicists (who comprise the most vocal contingent of Christianity among the membership and who claim to have all the answers from a book and from personal opinion). The several active members who are moderate or modern Christians do not claim to have all the answers -- and often consider the bible as more a guideline than absolute or literal truth.
