Can the Koran can be disproven and shown to be in error? If the same principles that disprove the Koran were applied to the Bible, would the Bible be disproven too?RND wrote:The Koran can be disproven and shown to be in error.

Post #31In other words, "My unprovable revelation from an invisible God is better than yours, therefore you must be a liar and a heretic". Looks good on you.Bag-Of-Hammers wrote:The Koran says that Jesus was not the son of God, but a mere prophet that was never crucified. Stating that you could possibly know any better than the New Testement without having been an actual eye witness makes you a liar.McCulloch wrote:Can the Koran can be disproven and shown to be in error? Post #32Well actually the bible says that none of the diciples of Jesus were eyewitnesses to the alleged crucifixtion.Bag-Of-Hammers wrote:The Koran says that Jesus was not the son of God, but a mere prophet that was never crucified. 36And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39. Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42. And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43. And he took it, and did eat before them.
Let's analyze...
Why were the diciples terrified to see Jesus? Obvious because they thought they were seeing a spirit a ghost. Did Jesus look like a spirit? Can you see a spirit?
No! Then why did they think they were seeing a ghost when he didn't look like one?
Because they had heard from heresay that Jesus was hanged on the cross they had heard from heresay that he was dead and buried for three days. None of the diciples were eyewitnesses to the alleged hanging on the cross because at the most critical junture in the life of Jesus Mark says 14:50 And they all forsook him and fled. None of them saw Jesus being crucified but they had heard from heresay that he was hanged on the cross and killed. So how does Jesus prove he is not a spirit he tells them to touch him and he asks them for some food and he ate in front of them... None of the diciples were eyewitenesses those writings are from heresay.
So where all of the diciples eyewitness to the same events and words which Jesus spoke?

Post #33The first 4 books of the NT were carefully constructed through intense research to reflect the truth, and were based on 1000's of eye witness accounts. The Koran was based on nothing but the imagination of 1 uneducated, murderous, lying, rapists, thief, pedophile with no faith in anybody.muhammad rasullah wrote:Well actually the bible says that none of the diciples of Jesus were eyewitnesses to the alleged crucifixtion.Bag-Of-Hammers wrote:The Koran says that Jesus was not the son of God, but a mere prophet that was never crucified. Post #34The four canonical gospels were not the first four books of the New Testament to be written. Their authors are either unknown or very little is known about them. Anything you say about the process by which they were assembled, edited and written would be entirely speculation. Bag-Of-Hammers has made the assertion about the 1000's of eye witness accounts before and has yet to produce any evidence to support that claim. Please provide the names of fifty of these eyewitnesses.Bag-Of-Hammers wrote:The first 4 books of the NT were carefully constructed through intense research to reflect the truth, and were based on 1000's of eye witness accounts.
