Hi Mike. Hope you find what you are looking for and that this site may be able to help in some way. My question to you though, would be, why do you feel the need to find a religion at all?
Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Hi Mike! Welcome to the forum! I am new here as well and from what I have seen so far this is a great place for discussion and debate. I too am interested in different religions/philosophies and I'm trying to figure out what it is I believe in so it is nice to see someone in a similar situation. Have fun posting and see you around.
