Counselling and Spirituality

Post by Ken1 »

Hello all,
I am carrying out a piece of research in religious and spiritual belief through an online text-based survey. The survey is about how personal beliefs help in times of stress and difficulty and I am trying to get as wide a range of experiences as possible to better understand how we can help people a little better.

This research aims to understand the role of beliefs in our lives and how we use them in our minds. I hope to reveal themes and experiences that might be common to many people, and understand the role our belief systems might have in dealing with difficult experiences. I feel this has valuable lessons for therapists, but you do not need to have been in therapy to participate.

I'm an atheist almost-counsellor. I don't suppose I'm of much use. :(

of course your input is of use! it is about what each person thinks and feels in their own personal lives after all.

I did the questionairre - I think your input would be of value.

I did the whole thing last night, clicked 'submit' and found that the session had expired. :( I'll give it another go later.

I'm sorry that it timed out, I have not had anyone else so far have any major problems. I'll look into the settings in case there is something I've missed.

There is an option to save your answers and complete it later on, if you need time to think for a while.

Hope you're not discouraged.
