I enjoy watching all you heavyweights debating but i don't think im up to your standards just yet so i will lurk around a little more before posting.

Another thing about my that im sure you will find interesting  is my LOVE for everything tattoos, which actually got me interested in debating religion but that is a story for another time.

Hey, tell the story. Now is an ideal time and place. It sounds different.

Welcome to the forum, Ink.

I hope you don't think of us as sumo wrestlers.

It might be helpful to check out the thread http://debatingchristianity.com/forum/v ... 3&start=40

Welcome to the forum. I'd be interested in hearing your tattoo story as well.

Hum. Tattoos leading to religious beliefs? Don't worry, we won't needle you over that.
I am sure you are a sharp guy, and will get the picture soon.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Hi Ink,

Come on in...dip a toe. ;) You will realise that the water is a lot warmer once you get the feel for it. :P

I would like to hear about the tat's and story relating to your interest in religious debate from that too.

Welcome Ink. Don't be afraid to jump in and voice your opinions. Even if you may think you can't compete, you may just say something that may inspire someone or change a person's opinion.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.
