Q: Why are we here?
A: I used to think it was so God could experience all that is his ... greatness for lack of better word (if he was guiding me he left for the moment
) but now I've come to think its because we need to see for ourselves just what it would be like if he left it completely up to us to be in charge.Sure its okay to live a 100 years in a world so full of injustice and abuse of power etc ... but wouldn't it suck to live an eternity in a place that wouldn't have faminine or disease or hunger but still had the many unspeakable crimes committed that are done every day here in this life. Not too mention all the BS we see today in the top governments in the world ... the USA, (being I'm from there and can't judge other governments with exception of being able to say that if their country was so darn great why haven't I heard of it yet?
And my second question would be why has it been kept such a secret / not been adopted by free-willed countries across the globe? Truth is that no society in all our history including current times ... has ever proven to be ...Heaven, ... I don't think I've ever even heard one refered to as being SO much better than anywhere else that people flocked to it to get in ... Closest I can think of is the USA and believe me ... you don't want an eternity of having morons in charge that allow what we have seen in the states in recent years. Heaven probably won't let me in just for making the comparison and I"d not blame.
And we'd never accept the belief that we couldn't do it without divine intervention ... unless we had lived it. Come on ... admit it. There would always be those who spoke out saying they could do it better ... well here you are ... here's your chance ... only you don't have to take over the world .. just change your little part ... and if everybody could manage that ... there'd be no need for government for anything much further than traffic control. There'd certainly be no crimes committed or adultry or abusiveness in any form. The worlds biggest concern would turn from all the resources lost towards controlling the tangible results of sins .. being rape, theft, murder, spread of disease through casual encounters into sexual relationships (a ton of money spent just on AIDS but there are all kinds of disease throughout history attributed to risque social behaviors) ... all that ... roughly 35% or more "taxes" you pay now ... which if truth told since you get taxed on it when you spend it too ... is probably closer to about half of everything everybody makes in this world ... or has ever made since beginning of time ...
has resulted in accomplishing the world we live in today.
I think its pretty fair to say that we can't run things better. That our governments are suspect even in their most successful and most transparent forms ... that when we are ready to accept that we ain't ever gonna get there without surrendering to some divine intervention ... even if we have an eternity to try. But who wants to live thru an eternity in as miserable fashion as has been shown capable in this life of only a 100 years or less?
When you can surrender to God's running things and be greatful he is ... and then you can focus your time on YOU, focus your resources on YOU instead of seeing them all go towards a world like we live in today
