Absence

Post by Sotomone »

Hey to let you know. I will be absent coming this first. Not able to make a post for about a month or so. My aunt wants me to travel along with her on a camping trip since I just got news of well just say some thing bad's come up. She's in good health just she wont be able to travel for much longer and she's been traveling most her life and I'll be seeing my mom again. ^^; So it will be a worth while trip. I'll also be moving to Bakersfield California so once I get there I need to get things setup for my self. So I'll finish up whatever debates I have and if I don't I'll continue on my return.

When I leave I'll be hoping to come back to see some good debates I can join in. Decided to drop the message early so that I don't forget when it comes time for me to pack my things and head out.

Well that's pretty much it. ^^

I look forward to continuing our debate when you get back.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

I hope you enjoy the trip. I'd say camping is fun, but I've never done it - at least not the civilian way. but hey, I thought it was fun when we had to walk to our camp site, and sleep in sleeping bags with no cover in pouring rain in the middle of winter, then get woken up 3 hours after going to sleep to stand around for 3 hours, then sleep for 3 more.

bakersfield though? pack some shorts. Its really hot there. San Diego is much nicer. never got over 86 degrees in the 16 years I lived there.
