THINGS WE MUST BAN

Leviticus 19:19

" 'Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.

It is GOD's will! we must ban all clothes with more than two kinds of material.

I will start this crusade of holy fashion by burning my part silk part cotton boxers!!!

We must ban all cross bred species and put them all to death!!!

While at it we should probably burn the scientists who created them at the stake to stop them from recreating their hreathen monsters!!!

How much clearer can GOD be? I will start us off by burning the garden of the old lady next door who has betrayed CHRIST by frowing her tomatoes and carrots too close.

We can solve the problem just by going around nude. That way we won't risk God's wrath by accidently wearing clothes of two kinds of material.

How about mating WITH different kinds of animals. Can we do that? Or perhaps there are some we shouldn't mate with?

That's why I don't do gardening. I want to avoid God's wrath. Any Christian who'd grow a vege garden is clearly not a true Christian.

How does one remove all the blood from the meat? How can one gaurantee it's all gone? Must have been difficult in biblical times. Damn, I don't know about this one, I mean, I love vegetarian food, don't get me wrong, it goes really well with steak, but I don't think I could become a vegetarian. Hey are Muslims allowed to eat meat? Maybe Allah won't mind if I eat meat with blood in it.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Which version are we talking about? Regardless we must ban those garmets as you said, BURN THE LINEN AND WOOL!!!

No, it says do not wear a combination of them. This was actually part of the priestly garment from another local god at the time, so it is feasible that this restriction was put in to discourage the worship of another religion.

Linen was also considered the cloth of the priesthood for worship, while wool was considered more mundane.. so it could be interpreted do not mix the sacred and the mundane.
