Religious video
Post #1Can a religious video be formidable? My wife looked a video that tells about an autumn leaf, life and death, good and bad, and said that it was rather creepy. The video (2.5 min) can be found from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hx6Dnru16a4.[/url]

I guess it is sort of creepy, but I wonder how much of that is because you suggested it might be, so I was looking for creepiness.
I couldn't help but feel it sounded a little like Dracula narrating some kind of "Blair Witch" type of horror movie with leaves shivering unnaturally and warped trees flashing up every now and then. It almost looked as though a zombie could come lumbering out at any second.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

I think that your description terrifies people more than the video. Sis you feel that the video put you "back against wall", as one my friend said?OnceConvinced wrote:I guess it is sort of creepy, but I wonder how much of that is because you suggested it might be, so I was looking for creepiness.

Well it certainly wouldn't attract me to giving my life to Christ like that guy is saying we should.

How would glad voice convince in this context? The voice is not sooo monotone, there are some colors like gray and black. And white, color of hope.Nilloc James wrote:His voice was more monotone and dreary that the words creepy.
