Got any vegetarian soup? soup is good, but everybody puts meat in it.
Ive got one for those interested. Its a sweet bread that I adapted from something else. It makes quite a bit of bread. I'd recommend a half recipe the first time.
6 cups flour
1/2 cup flour
3 eggs
2 cups pineapple juice
3/4 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 ounce yeast
1/2 cup butter
4 tablespoons flax seed(not required)
1 cup fruit(chopped apricots/dates/cranberries/whatever)(also not required)
Directions:
1) beat the eggs, add pineapple juice, sugar, ginger, vanilla, and butter.
2) place 3 cups flour and 4 tablespoons flax seed in a large bowl. Stir in the egg mixture. sprinke in yeast, and mix.
3) add the remaining 3 cups flour and mix(should be hard to mix at this point)
4) add fruit and mix in
5) remove from bowl and knead about 10 times. cut into whatever size you prefer.
6) place in greased and floured pan and place in warm place to rise for an hour.
7) bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
