Have you felt the Holy Spirit?

I have indeed felt the Holy Spirit. I now know what the Bible means when it says, "They were filled with the Holy Spirit". Have any of you ever felt the Holy Spirit?

I'll tell you about it. I have been computer friends with a non-Christian girl for a long time. One day, we somehow got onto the topic of religion, and we started talking about it, me doing most of the talking. Suddenly, a wave of almost overwhelming compassion engulfed me, and the love I felt for my friend was stronger at that point than at any other. When I spoke to her, I spoke with a wisdom that was not my own; I am convinced it came from the Spirit itself, like in the New Testament. I'm in awe every time I think about it..

Have any of you had similar experiences?

I have had similar experiences Allie. And I don't doubt your experience. It's a wonderful feeling.

I can imagine the power of the Love you felt for your friend.
