Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

I dislike labels, because the meanings tend to vary, depending on the times and climes. I think statements should stand or fall on their merits. When a person identifies with a label, they are sometimes categorized by others, perhaps unconsciously, as being a potential ally or adversary, and their statements are weighted accordingly. It's impossible to avoid this of course, unless one remains silent, but I prefer to at least avoid wearing my categories on my sleeve, so I don't have to waste time defending them instead of my statements.OnceConvinced wrote:welcome Sonic.
