For some reason this post makes me take the position seen in Fallibleone's avatar.

Okay Converted to Islam. What exactly are us ladies and gents supposed to be impressed by?

Put the question the other way. Why do you think we might not be much impressed?

In other words, No matter how bizzare, outrageous, or just plain idiotic a parody of a Fundamentalist may seem, there will always be someone who cannot tell that it is a parody, having seen similar REAL ideas from real religious/political Fundamentalists.
I find it really difficult to determine whether this post is an honest but deluded attempt to provide evidence or someone trying to make real Muslim apologists look stupid.

And I tell you that what you have there is not proof of there being no god but Allah.

McCulloch - I never even thought of that. :confused2:

Ask yourself this.

If someone you had never met appeared on a forum, pleading with everyone to espouse their chosen religion, flooding the place with a slew of new topics in big capital letters, typing in broken English rendering their comments almost incomprehensible, offering no evidence to back up their claims and contradicting themselves with virtually every new post, would you believe it?

If far more competent posters have failed to change minds, why do you think you stand a chance?

I grew up around Muslims, Converted. I went to school with them. I shared jokes with them and argued with them. I was in a minority, where Muslims were the majority. They were somewhat introverted (I would be too if I faced what they face on a daily basis) and obviously advised not to mix with unbelievers, but thankfully I was able to count some of them among my friends. I learned a great deal from the boys, and the girls, before they hit 16, were taken out of school to be married and I never saw them again.

Just this morning I was chatting to a Muslim friend (her child and mine are in the same class) about some annoying dilemmas I have. She gave me some great advice. I've known this particular lady and her sister and son for about 4 years now.

What I'm saying is that I've spoken to many Muslims over the years about all sorts of things. I have known personally many Muslims. I don't need to go to an Islamic centre to find them.

If you are here to tell me/us 'everything', please start.
