Ive been watching this forum and it hasnt moved in what i consider a long time. far too long infact.

I find our lack of communication disturbing >:(

Well im still relatively new to the place, still looking around as it were. But i dont see a place where the christians can gather and simpley dicuss things. Not debate them. Kind of like a situation room or a council room.I thought perhaps this forum "holy hudle" might be a good place to set up "base camp" lol but i dont know, is it? i come from a very organized well thought out and strategic back ground regarding sharing of the gospel and Truth in general. always had things on my terms and had a small band of christian brothers along side. We were all led by the Holy spirit to do and say what needed to be done and said. (All of this was on the internet by the way). It was the front lines at the time but i have been reasigned as it were to this division for a time. and am looking for perhaps a christian heiarchy and those who are in leadership roles doing thier part to ensure the success of the christians all over the forum to keep a standard of Truth and a standard of debate and so on and so forth.

perhaps im looking for more organization. A plan of "attack" maybe. Of course this all sounds warlike, and it is in a sense. but I just feel the need for some cooperation and maybe tag team or somthing =/ perhaps set up a universal standard of techniques and ideas that can be presented all across the forum. So that we spend less time trying to catch up with ourselves and more time doing some good towards the lost. It seems to me we are a team of soloists out there on the front lines of this forum. But what about you all? Tell me how you see it here? debrief me on the happenings

In general your observation of soloists on the front lines was not far off. However, I am not sure that everyone here is seeking to reach the lost. I for one have no aspirations of converting the atheists on this forum. Indeed, once a person has made up their mind (either way) it is rare that they can be budged from that place.

The holy huddle, is however, a place to bounce ideas off each other and gain a better position before putting it out in atheist infested waters to be tested. Note here and here.

I guess it is not so much a base camp as a place to gain support, insights and basically be a refuge from debate if someone needs it, but still wishes to discuss a topic.

As for winning the war, well . . . I feel like online debating will probably never prove God's existence and save this forlorn generation. However, I do enjoy it, and most importantly, I refine my own beliefs so that if ever challenged (say in front of others who are undecided - it has happened) I can intelligently defend my beliefs and show those present that Christian faith is not without secular merit.

Silly, slow down and enjoy things. Not everything has to be about spreading dire messages to save everyones soul. Jeeze. And I may be young (there are a lot of old people here, LOL) but has the "body of Christ" ever united under the banner of Christianity? Even during the Holy Wars we didn't unite. Come on now.

The "holy wars" is a bit of a joke if it was holy it had to of been from God. and it if was from God then the crusaders would have won. Just a thought hehe

I think that about says it all.
I have never seen anyone converted by a good argument, as in my case, I had a lot of good arguments with christians and none of them converted me, I attribute my conversion to the fervent prayers of a gray haired grandmother which brought fruit to all the arguments that I had heard in my life.
One day my belief in God was just handed to me as a result of seeing a half dozen of my drug taking friends turn to Jesus overnight. I imagine that they also had a legion of people praying for them.
I see the non-believers that come to this site the same as a person trapped in a second story of a burning building, their lives are in the balance, I can't just go on with my life as if nothing was going on, that is inhumane.
The Bible says that those who do not belong to Jesus, belong to Satan. And he is not going to give them up just because we tell him that Jesus paid the price for their release so hand them over in Jesus name. No, we are in for a fight, it is no easy task to redeem the lost souls from Satan.

11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

So I try to give an answer to the question that was put before me and also I try to include something from the Word of life that will someday bring fruit and I pray also for the soul of the person that I am involved with.
I know that there is a reason why God has brought all these people here, if I can just give them something to hold on to when they come to their 'dark night of the soul' that they may cry out to Jesus, like the thief that was crucified next to Jesus who said he was getting what he deserved but asked Jesus to remember him. Jesus said to him "Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise."
