Ok. If someone believes in a Creator God, then they are in accordance with every (real) religion. (and by "real" I mean those that stand the test of time and cultural diffusion). Now after that all the religions believe in all the same morals. To say that they all contradict each other because of a few minor beliefs is rediculous. Just to elaborate....
Reincarnation for instance. This is irrelevant because either way the religions preach how you should live as the main tenent. And besides whatever happens when you die could be totally null and void for all we know.
To claim to know more than someone of another religion is a pointless argument. Just because someone believes something should not (and does not) stand in the way of their morality and character. if there is a just God then i don't think he'll be caught up on specific minor beliefs. He'll care about actions and how we live our life. Isn't that what matters in the long run anyway?

I think he is talking about two different effects. The Zeno effect, and the double slit experiment, where an observer can effect the outcome of an experiment.Scrotum wrote:I think he is talking about Star Wars(tm).McCulloch wrote:McCulloch wrote:Do you really think that believing something will make it real?So if you believe that the ocean is not salty, it would not be?crystalmage wrote:Yes but only on the physical plain [plane] of existence.

I don't think it is 'thought' per say.
