We need a name to hijack

I was thinking about how the homosexuals have taken the word "gay" and that atheists are trying to take over the word "bright". So, I was thinking there should be a term for Christian debaters. Any suggestions for what word/term for us to claim?

Of the ones listed, I vote for "wise."
Pentecostal's names are accurate, but since they already "belong" to Christians, we can't really "hijack" them (except maybe "special," but that connotes "handicapped").
I'd go for a nice one-syllable word, maybe something more everyday than "wise."
My former piano teacher calls things "FEUD" - fun, exciting, unusual, or dangerous.

How about "New kind"?

This has got several layers of meanings.

One layer is a reference to creation.
Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

Another layer is a "new kind" of Christian.

And finally, new as in "fresh, modern" and kind as in "amicable, loving".

Thank you for your agreement, and yes they already belong to us which is why I suppose I mentioned them.

However, after careful consideration :-k :-k why do we need to be called anything other than what we are :?:

As I said previously, I'm a Born-Again Baptized in the Holy Spirit Pentecostal ="s "CHRISTIAN" therefore I am guilty :D :D however, by no means am I ashamed.

Call me anything you wish - as I know who I am, why I'm here, and where I'm going - Ishkabibble :joy:  :2gun:

I'm not suggesting we need a new term for "Christian", but for a "Christian debater".

Here are some qualifications in order to be called the new term:
- Christian
- Debates
- Civil
- Respectful
- Logical

Also, this is only an exercise, I highly doubt we're going to start some worldwide movement here. O:) ... but who knows? :-k

How about "Satin Bashers" :2gun: :D :?:

In-as-much as I'm 64-years old and continue to see things that amaze me - I would conclude that anything's possible.

I think I like "The Blessed"

Reason being when I discuss positive turns of events in my life , it is quite natural for me to say that I am blessed or Thank God etc.. When the A's discuss such things well I guess they can say , I am so lucky? Well anyway, the point is one must believe in God to see Gods effect on their lives and most Christians consider Gods effects as blessings so I guess blessings are very unique to the faithful , aren't they?

What about "enlightened"?

Christians are the only truly enlightened souls in existence. ;)
