Fstst.com linked me here, so I felt like checking this forum in depth.
So here I am.
I'm Joffrey, 22, from France.
My family could be qualified as catholic even though my parents don't believe in god. My grandparents do, though.
I attended catholic churches. More because the education was better than because my parents though I had to learn catholic basics. But still, I had been studying in catholic schools from 6 to 18. Had religion classes, masses at Easter, Christmas. I also passed my first Open Communion at the school.
But till 18, I'd never cared about religion.
It started being interested in it when I turned 18.
I wanted to make my own mind, and therefore I had to "flee" from the culture I had. And as you know, religion is a big part of culture, unfortunately.
Besides that, I've also denied the fact that any god exists because science and logic are to the most important things. Not to mention all the stuff (but another word started with "b" and ending with "t" would fit here better )around any religion.
Therefore, I always try to improve my knowledge in pretty much every subject.
I'm currently student in finance, fourth year over five.
Should be enough for now.
