We are all brothers and sisters with one leader and one teacher, Jesus Messiah. Jesus is our only high priest (see Hebrews) and only Jesus can forgive sins. Other than parents when we are children, we are answerable to no one other than God.

Those who confess their sins to a priest should ask Jesus to forgive them, just like all the rest of us should. A priest can neither forgive nor absolve anyone's sins. To preach simply means to proclaim and, anyone on earth can proclaim the good news of Jesus; one does not need to attend a religious university or obtain a divinity degree; such 'degrees' are worthless pieces of paper. We can save our time and money and be taught by Jesus himself.

Based on several letters of Paul, the early assemblies when gathered together as a group, several people spoke as the spirit moved them, perhaps interspersed with singing as likewise, the group was moved to do so. There was no lengthy boring sermon and meetings seem to have been entirely spontaneous and unscripted. Such gatherings apparently also usually included eating and socializing among the group.

Early followers of Jesus gathered in homes and perhaps public spaces and outside, weather permitting. They appear to have sometimes lived in the same larger housing complex. Constructing an expensive building or temple to supposedly honor God seems to have been anathema to both Stephen and Paul in Acts, who both state that God "does not live in temples made with hands." According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, early followers of Jesus considered it paganism to construct any type of temple or so-called "house of worship".

First, let me state, that I know Jesus was never secular. He was a practicing Jew who followed the Law, perfectly.

Second, concerning your conclusion; if I present Jesus as the prophesied Messiah, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was beaten, scourged and hung on a cross, dying to fulfill His Father's will as the perfect, willing sacrifice for our sins, and raised on the third morning, defeating death and being witnessed by at least 400 and ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father, will I for doing so, as you claim "...more than likely answer to God Almighty, for doing do..."?

I wonder why you seem apprehensive about what I'm sharing here with all [in this forum], when you know that you are a follower of the Way and a child of God, as you claim. If you are a follower of the Way, no doubt, the Lord Jesus Christ is your Pastor and Teacher, isn't He? And, without fail, you would know that anyone would only be saved by coming to and following the Lord Jesus Christ until the end if you were a child of God. Not only that, but you also quoted supposed words from this entity that contradict God's breathed word and claim "thus saith the Lord Jesus Christ" (this I addressed with you in an earlier post and OP).

You have not seen Jesus in your life since birth, yet you do say now Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father, don't you see yourself lying with your notion above? Don't you know that Jesus is the Father Himself, who came in the flesh, the flesh of the Son of God, during His (Jesus) incarnation? If there were someone to sit at the right hand of the Father, that would be the Son of God, per se, the man who was the physical vessel of God, whose name is Jesus, in His incarnation.

Like the apostles were told at His ascension, so He will return the same way (Acts 1:11).

Are you telling us Jesus is not here with us, across all generations?

You are truly unaware, even in the bible, which are the words of the Lord Jesus and which are not. The 'saved by grace, free gift, etc. notions of salvation is not the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ written in the bible, but of Paul, who is not the Savior. Paul is long gone too; hence, he cannot teach us anymore. If you want the teachings of the Lord Jesus about salvation written in the bible, go to the following biblical passages, to wit:

Matthew 19:21. Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect[, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

John 5:39-40. You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life."

Even the teachings of Jesus in the 4 gospels agree with the utterance of the Lord today about salvation; you are now the one who contradicts the Lord in this regard, since you take the notion of Paul about the salvation of mankind, which is not in agreement with the Lord's teachings, both in the written accounts of the bible and in the utterance of the Lord Jesus today in our time.
