The doctrine of creatio ex nihilo is widely assumed in classical theism. But:
Scripture never states it clearly (2 Maccabees 7:28 is a mother's assertion under torture, not a revelation).
It violates ex nihilo nihil fit - yet the same critics who reject "round squares" as logically absurd often accept ex nihilo without a principled distinction.
Resurrection hope does not logically require it.
So: True, False, or Unknowable - and why?
Creation ex nihilo - True, False or Unknowable?

Creation ex nihilo - True, False or Unknowable?
The question has never been whether God is speaking. The question has always been whether there is anyone listening - anyone who has stopped hiding long enough to hear.

Post #2In Biblical point of view it is not "nothing comes from nothing". God created all things, so all things came from God.

Post #3Thank you, 1232. Just to be sure I understand you — are you offering this as an objection to my original post, or as a clarification or supplement to it?

Post #4You asked "Creation ex nihilo - True, False or Unknowable?" And my answer was to that. In Biblical point of view things came from God, not from nothing.
