Tall buildings

He asked the Prophet: "When will the Hour be?' He (saw) said: 'The one who is being asked about it does not know more than the one who is asking.'
He asked: 'Then what are its signs?' he said: when you see barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings.

1400 years ago an illiterate man in the desert claimed we'd see the bedouins competing in building tall buildings.

If we take a look at
Arabia roughly 100 years ago we don't see tall buildings.

For more then a millennia after the Prophet there were no tall buildings in
Arabia.

Recently, in our own lifetimes tall buildings have appeared all over the desert.

Today
Dubai has many skyscrapers, 74 listed with the oldest one being built in 1999 according to Wikipedia.

Dubai built the tallest building in the world in 2010.
The Burj Khalifa

' he said: when you see barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings.

This is a sign we have seen come true in our own lifetime

When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour (the Day of Judgment). These are the words of Prophet Muhammad. They paint a picture of the time leading up to the Day of Judgement, when righteous people will be sorrowful due to the lack of honesty around them. In the 21st century, we live in a world where honesty is valued and yet shunned at the same time. We expect people to be honest in their dealings with us yet we watch and applaud television shows and movies that promote and encourage lying and deceitfulness.

Without thinking, we teach our children that dishonesty is acceptable. When we expect our children to tell the caller on the telephone we are not home, this is a lesson in deceit. When we refuse invitations and pretend we are busy, this is lying. We admonish our children for lying, yet the reality is we have been their teachers. Whether we tell lies, or whether we allow our children to live in a world surrounded by deceit, the lesson is learned and the honesty begins to disappear from the hearts of the next generation.

Honesty incorporates the concepts of truthfulness and reliability and it resides in all human thought, words, actions and relationships. It is more than just accuracy; it is more than just truthfulness, it denotes integrity or moral soundness. Islam commands truthfulness and forbids lying. God commands that a Muslim be honest.

“O you who believe! Fear God, and be with those who are true (in word and deeds).” (Quran 9:119)

Ibn Katheer, the renowned Quran scholar, explained the meaning of this verse. He said, “Being truthful and adhering to truthfulness, means you will be among the people of the truth and be saved from calamity and that it will make a way out for you from your problems”.

A true believer, one who is truly submitted to God, has many characteristics by which he can be identified. The most obvious of these noble characteristics are honesty of character and truthfulness of speech. Prophet Mohammad was a perfect example of honesty. Even before his Prophethood, he had earned the titles of Al Amin (the trustworthy one) and As Sadiq (the truthful).

Al Amin, the Prophet Muhammad once gathered all the people of Mecca and asked them, “O people of
Mecca! If I say that an army is advancing on you from behind the mountains, will you believe me?” All said in one voice, “Yes, because we have never heard you telling a lie.” All the people, without exception, swore to his truthfulness and honesty because he had lived an unblemished and extremely pious life among them for forty years.

Abu Sufyan described his honesty. When Prophet Muhammad sent a letter to the Emperor of Byzantium inviting him to Islam, the Emperor, Heraclius sent for the Meccan trader, Abu Sufyan. Even though he was, at that time, a dire enemy of Islam, he spoke the truth about Prophet Mohammad when he said, “He neither tells lies nor betrays others, he bids people to worship God Alone and orders us to observe prayer, honesty and abstinence”

This honesty, an essential ingredient of the Muslim character, includes being truthful towards God by worshipping Him sincerely; being truthful to oneself, by adhering to God’s laws; and being truthful with others by speaking the truth and being honest in all dealings, such as buying, selling and marriage. There should be no deceiving, cheating, falsifying or withholding of information, thus a person should be the same on the inside as he is on the outside.

Prophet Muhammad warned us of the dangers inherent in dishonesty, and the benefits of living in an honest way. He said:

“Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to
Paradise. In addition, a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person. Falsehood leads to wickedness and evil-doing, and wickedness leads to the (Hell) Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before God, as a liar”. (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

A true Islamic society is based upon honesty and justice, and is intolerant of dishonesty in all its various forms. Honesty in all business transactions is emphasised and the Prophet Muhammad exhorts Muslims to be scrupulously honest in all their dealings. Abdullah ibn Omar was once described as the “brother of the night.” He would stand at night performing prayer, weeping, seeking God’s forgiveness and reading Quran. One day, he was sitting among some close friends and he read the following verses:

“Woe unto those who give short measure, those who, when they are to receive their due from people, demand that it be given in full but when they have to measure or weigh whatever they owe to others, give less than what is due. Do they not know that they are bound to be raised from the dead (and called to account) on an awesome Day, the Day when all men shall stand before the Sustainer of all the worlds?” (Quran 83:1-6)

Abdullah wept until he was faint and kept repeating the words “the day when all men shall stand before the Sustainer of all the worlds.” He was amongst the most honest and trustworthy men, but being reminded of the punishment for those who are deceitful filled him with fear.

A Muslim seeking to please God and follow the path of righteousness should be aware of the dangers of deceit and dishonesty. However, equally he should know that God is all Merciful and all Loving, willing to forgive even the gravest sins for those who strive for His sake. Honesty is very important in the life of a believer.

“Honesty descended from the Heavens and settled in the roots of the hearts of men (faithful believers), and then the Quran was revealed and the people read the Quran, (and learnt it from it) and also learnt from the sayings and traditions. Both the Quran and the traditions strengthened their honesty. (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

This is from among the many sayings of Prophet Muhammad, many of which forbade deceit and enjoined honesty. For those who wish to be among the truthful, Prophet Muhammad has left us with these words of guidance, “Let he who believes in God and the Last Day either speak good or keep silent”. (Saheeh Muslim)

Allah sent the prophets as a mercy to the slaves and supported them with miracles to indicate the truthfulness of their message. Of all the prophets, our Prophet, Muhammad, was blessed with the most miracles. Al-Isra 'and al-Mi ^ raj are among the many miracles of Prophet Muhammad.

The miracle of al-Isra 'is confirmed in the Qur'an. In Surat al-Isra ', Ayah 1, Allah said:

which means: [Praise be to Allah Who enabled His slave, Muhammad, to make the journey at night from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, which is surrounded a blessed land.] This journey is also confirmed in the sahih hadith. As such, there is scholarly consensus (ijma ^) Prophet Muhammad journeyed in body and soul the night of al-Isra 'from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah to Masjid al-Aqsain Jerusalem. Moreover, these scholars indicated the person who denies al-Isra 'is a blasphemer for belying the explicit text of the Qur'an.

Al-isra And Al-miraj ....... )scenes From Paradise And Fire

1- On Prophet Muhammad's journey from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa, Allah enabled him to see some of His wondrous creations. Allah enabled the Prophet to see the world (dunya) like an old woman. However, this old woman was wearing a great deal of jewelry, and in this there is an indication signifying the reality of the world.

2- Allah enabled the Prophet to see Iblis. The Prophet saw something on the side of the road which did not dare to stand in his way or speak to him. What the Prophet saw was Iblis. Originally, Iblis was a believer and lived with the angels in Paradise. When Allah ordered the angels to prostrate (sujud) to Prophet Adam, Iblis was ordered to prostrate to him as well. The angels prostrated to Adam in obedience to Allah, because angels do not disobey Allah. However, Iblis did not obey, and he objected to the order of Allah. He said, "You created me out of fire, and You created him out of clay. How do You order me to prostrate to him?" So this objection by Iblis to the order of Allah was the first blasphemy he committed.

3- On his journey, the Prophet smelled a very nice odor. He asked Jibril about this pleasant scent and Jibril informed him this good smell was coming from the grave of the woman whose duty used to be to comb Pharaoh's daughter's hair. This woman was a good, pious believer. One day, as she was combing Pharaoh's daughter's hair, the comb fell from her hand.

At this she said, ""Bismillah. "Pharaoh's daughter asked her, "Do you have a god other than my father?" The woman said, "Yes. My Lord and the Lord of your father is Allah." Pharaoh's daughter told her father what had happened. Pharaoh demanded this woman blaspheme and leave Islam, but she refused. At that, Pharaoh threatened to kill her children. He brought a great pot of water and built a great fire under it. When the water boiled, Pharaoh brought her children and started to drop them into that pot one after the other.

Throughout all this, the woman remained steadfast to Islam, even when Pharaoh reached her youngest child--a little boy still bosom feeding--but she felt pity for him. At that, Allah enabled this child to speak. He said to his mother, "O Mother, be patient. The torture of the Hereafter is far more severe than the torture of this life, and do not be reluctant, because you are right." At this the woman requested Pharaoh collect her bones and the bones of her children and bury them in the same grave. Pharaoh promised her that--then dropped her into that boiling water. She died as a martyr. The good odor the Prophet smelled coming from her grave is an indication of her high status.

4- During his trip, the Prophet saw people who were planting and reaping in two days. Jibril told the Prophet, "These were the people who fight for the sake of Allah (mujahidun). "wink."

5- The Prophet also saw people whose lips and tongues were clipped with scissors made of fire. Jibril told the Prophet, "These are the speakers of sedition (fitna) who call people to misguidance."

6- He also saw a bull which exited a very small outlet, then was trying in vain to return through that small outlet. Jibril told the Prophet, "This is the example of the bad word--once spoken, it cannot be returned."

7- The Prophet saw people grazing like animals, with very little clothing on their private parts. Jibril told the Prophet, "These are the ones who refused to pay zakat. "."

8- The Prophet saw angels smashing some people's heads with rocks. These heads would return to the shape they had been, and then the angels would smash their heads again--and so on. Jibril told the Prophet, "These are the ones whose heads felt too heavy to perform prayer--the ones who used to sleep without praying."

9- On his journey the Prophet saw people who were competing to eat some rotten meat--ignoring meat that was sliced and unspoiled. Jibril told the Prophet, "These are people from your nation who leave out that which is permissible (halal), and consume that which is forbidden ((haram). "This reference was to the fornicators, that is, the ones who left out the permissible (marriage) and committed sins (fornication).

10- Also, the Prophet saw people who were drinking from the fluid coming from the bodies of the fornicators, (water mixed with blood). Jibril indicated to the Prophet these were the ones who were drinking the alcohol which is prohibited in this world.

11- The Prophet saw people scratching their faces and chests with brass finger nails. Jibril said, "These are the examples of those who commit gossip ((ghibah). "

Some Christians claim Mohammed was taught by a Christian monk named Buhira.

If Mohammed learnt from Buhira, why doesn’t Mohammed teach Jesus is the son of God? Why does the Quran come with a strong warning aimed at those who believe God has begotten a son?

Did Buhira teach Mohammed all the scientific miracles in the Quran that no man could have known (the big bang, the ratio of land to sea, embryology, irons atomic number, the ever expanding universe, the orbits, the roundness of the earth, the layers of the earth, the pairs of everything, the seas not mingling with each others, the internal waves, the uniqueness of the fingerprint, that mankind will start cloning living things etc.)?

Regarding its Law why is Islam more similar to Judaism than what the Christians believe?

Before Mohammed’s teenage years he journeyed with his uncle on his business travels as far as Syria. They stopped at ‘Bostra’ where the caravan always stopped. There was a cell which had been lived in by a Christian monk for generation after generation. When a Christian monk would inherit the cell, they would also inherit everything within the cell which included old manuscripts. Amongst these was one which contained the prediction of the coming prophet to the Arabs.

The current occupant who inherited the cell was a Christian monk named Buhira. He was well versed in the resize.jpgscriptures and the prophecies and felt that the prophet would come in his lifetime.

Buhira had often seen the caravan approach and stop near his cell. He never took much interest in them but noticed something different, which he found amazing. He noticed a small low-hanging cloud that moved slowly above their heads. This cloud was always hanging between the sun and one or two of the travellers. When the travellers stopped moving, the cloud would stop moving. The travellers took shelter under a tree and Buhira noticed the tree lowered its branches over them, so they were always in the shade and protected from the sharp rays of the sun.

Buhira felt there was some great spiritual presence amongst the travellers, and immediately thought of the expected prophet.

Buhira’s cell was stocked with provisions of food and drink. He invited the travellers in for food to investigate. The travellers accepted the invitation but left Mohammed to look after the camels. Buhira scanned each of the traveller’s faces one by one, but none of them matched the description in the prophecies. Buhira asked them “are all of you travellers here, did you leave anyone behind?”

They said they left only a boy behind. Buhira asked them to get the boy (Mohammed). Buhira noticed many features of both the face and body which matched the prophecies. Buhira asked Mohammed questions about his way of life, his beliefs, his sleep and his general affairs. Mohammed answered all the questions. Buhira knew this boy was the expected prophet to come. Buhira told Mohammed’s uncle a great future lies before this nephew of yours, so take him home quickly’

qibla change in islam

There are 2 billion Muslims in the world, and each time they pray, they turn their faces in one direction, towards Mecca. The Islamic term for this direction is qibla. When a Muslim prepares to pray, no matter where he is, he turns towards the qibla, the direction of the Kaba. The Kaba is a small cube shaped building in the courtyard of the mosque known as Masjid Al Haram, in the city of Mecca, in the country of Saudi Arabia.

“For every nation there is a direction to which they face (in their prayers). So hasten towards all that is good. Wheresoever you may be, God will bring you together (on the Day of Resurrection). Truly, God is Able to do all things. And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Mecca), that is indeed the truth from your Lord. And God is not unaware of what you do.” (Quran 2:148-149)

Muslims do not worship the Kaba, or its contents, it is simply a focal point. Muslims worship One God, the Most Merciful, and the Most Wise. God decreed that when Muslims pray they all face one direction. It is a sign of unity that encapsulates the unity embedded in the religion of Islam.

The Arabic word for prayer is salah and it demotes a connection between the believer and God; when all believers face the same direction it adds an extra dimension to the connection. The prayer connects the believers to God and the qibla connects the believers to one another. It has been said that if one could observe all the Muslims at prayer we would be able to see lines of worshippers bowing and prostrating like the petals of a flower opening and closing in unison.

The qibla was not always oriented towards Mecca. The first Muslims prayed towards the al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Around sixteen months after Prophet Muhammad and his followers migrated from Mecca to the city of Medina, the qibla was changed to the Kaba. According to accounts by Prophet Muhammad's companions, the change happened very suddenly. During the noon prayer, Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, received a revelation from God instructing him to, "Turn your face towards the Masjid al Haram".

“Thus, we have made you real believers in Islamic Monotheism, true followers of Prophet Muhammad and his legal ways, a just nation, witnesses over mankind and the Messenger a witness over you. And We made the Qibla (prayer direction towards Jerusalem) which you used to face, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (i.e. disobey the Messenger). Indeed, it was great (heavy) except for those whom God guided. And God would never make your prayers to be lost (i.e. your prayers offered towards Jerusalem). Truly, God is full of kindness, the Most Merciful towards humankind.”

“Verily! We have seen the turning of your (Muhammad) face towards the heaven. Surely, We shall turn you to a Qibla (prayer direction) that shall please you, so turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid- al-Haram (at Mecca). And wheresoever you people are, turn your faces (in prayer) in that direction...” (Quran 2:143-144)

Changing the direction of prayer establishes Mecca as the fixed central point for worship. It establishes a common sense or purpose.

Throughout the centuries, mathematicians and astronomers have established correct ways to determine the qibla (direction) from any point on the earth’s surface. There are two precise moments each year when the sun is directly above the Kaba, thus the direction of shadows in any sunlit place will point away from the qibla. There are also two moments per year when the sun is directly over the exact opposite position of the Kaba, thus pointing towards the qibla.

It is important the Muslims make every effort to face the right direction when praying; however, slight deviations do not invalidate a person’s prayer. Prophet Muhammad said, “What is between the east and the west is qibla”.[1] Nowadays it is easy to locate the qibla. It is a simple matter to look at a map and draw a line between your location and the city of Mecca. Compasses and computer programs that locate the qibla are readily available and most mosques throughout the world have a niche in the wall to indicate the qibla.

Islam is a religion of unity. Muslims are united by their belief in One God. They are one brotherhood united in the language and ritual of prayer and united by the direction of their worship. The qibla is not only about degrees of latitude or longitude it is about unity. It is about humankind united in the worship of the One God, Creator, and Sustainer of the universe

It is clear from these sayings of Jesus that he did not die for your sins. He tells you how hard it is to enter the kingdom of heaven. He stressed the importance of living a sin free life and working hard doing good deeds. Listen to and follow the words of Jesus and not the false prophet Paul.

--
“If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.”
“And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.”
“And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where ‘the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.’”
Mark 9:43-48 NIV

Jesus was to die for our sins then Jesus would have not made such strong statements like above. Jesus is stating how hard it is to enter heaven if you sin. If your hand causes you to sin, it is better to cut it to stop you sinning, as you will be destined to hell.

--
“And someone said to him, ‘Lord, will those who are saved be few?’ And he said to them,” Luke 13:23 RSV
“Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” Luke 13:24 RSV

The narrow door is the door to heaven. Jesus tells us to work hard (following the law, doing good deeds, working for the next life not this life) to try and enter it, as only a few shall enter it. This contradicts all the teachings of Paul.

--

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21-23 NIV
“Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’”
”Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
Jesus is clearly telling you that even if you “follow him” you are not saved. Your works of righteous must be great.

The ones who worship Jesus (as God), prophesise and do miracles in his name are the evil doers for associating him as a partner with the true God. There will be countless generations of Christians who will be rejected on that day.

Many Christians believe what distinguishes Jesus from other prophets and makes him divine was that he could raise people from the dead.

Firstly, one needs to remember that all his miracles were done by the finger of God and not by himself.

Secondly, Elijah also raised people from the dead by the power of God.

“And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.” 1 Kings 17:21
“And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.” 1 Kings 17:22 KJV(Full story start from 1 Kings 17:17)

“And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed.” 2 Kings 4:32 KJV
“Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.” 2 Kings 4:35 KJV (Full story start from 2 Kings 4:32)

Misconception that Jesus is divine because he ascended into heaven alive

Christians and Muslims both believe Jesus body ascended into Heaven by God (as he will be returning) a long time after the alleged crucifixion, but it doesn’t make him divine. Other prophets ascended into Heaven:

“And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” 2 Kings 2:11 KJV

“And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” Genesis 5:22-24 KJV

cleanliness is not only limited to the physical aspect but also extends to the environment. Muslims are required to keep their surroundings clean and pure. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that a person’s cleanliness is half of their faith. He also emphasized the importance of cleaning one’s home, removing any impurities and keeping it tidy.

In Islam, personal hygiene is considered an essential part of maintaining good health. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised Muslims to brush their teeth regularly, trim their nails, and groom themselves. He also encouraged Muslims to take a bath regularly and wear clean clothes.

Islam also teaches the importance of maintaining cleanliness in food and drink. Muslims are required to consume only halal (permissible) food and avoid eating or drinking anything that is considered impure. Muslims are also encouraged to wash their hands before and after eating, and to use clean utensils.

Cleanliness is a fundamental teaching of Islam, and it is considered an essential aspect of the religion. Muslims are required to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in their surroundings. The teachings of Islam emphasize the importance of cleanliness for physical and spiritual purity, good health, and the attainment of peace and tranquility.
The Significance of Cleanliness in Islam:

Cleanliness holds great significance in Islam, and it is considered one of the fundamental teachings of the religion. Islam places great emphasis on cleanliness as it is believed to be a key component of faith. Here are some of the reasons why cleanliness is significant in Islam:

1. Spiritual purity: In Islam, cleanliness is linked to spiritual purity. Muslims are required to perform ablution (Wudu) before prayer to purify themselves both physically and spiritually.

2. Health and well-being: Cleanliness is essential for maintaining good health and well-being. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of personal hygiene, such as regular bathing, washing hands before eating, and brushing teeth.

3. Environmental cleanliness: Islam teaches Muslims to maintain a clean and healthy environment. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized keeping one’s home and surroundings clean, free from litter and waste.

4. Respect for others: Maintaining cleanliness is a sign of respect for oneself and others. Muslims are taught to keep themselves and their surroundings clean to prevent the spread of diseases and illnesses.

5. Social interactions: Cleanliness plays an important role in social interactions. Muslims are encouraged to maintain good personal hygiene, wear clean clothes, and keep their homes and surroundings clean to enhance their social interactions and relationships.

Cleanliness is significant in Islam as it is linked to spiritual purity, health, well-being, respect for oneself and others, and social interactions. Muslims are encouraged to maintain cleanliness in all aspects of their lives, from personal hygiene to environmental cleanliness. By doing so, they not only fulfill a religious obligation but also promote good health and well-being for themselves and their community

The Bible has too many false stories for the crucifixion story to also be taken literally.

Ironically, considering that it was apparently done by the people from whom we have the most records of litteraly every minutiae of every aspect of their doings in that era, no, the Romans didn't record an incredibly influential person being executed and then rising from the dead.

We have accounts of the event that claim to have been dictated by four men (the gospels of Luke, John, Matthew, and Mark) none of which were eyewitnesses to the ministry of Jesus.

We even have the journals of a close friend of Pontius Pilate, which offers no record of the event.
No - there are no other records outside the bible referencing Jesus, the crucifixion or the resurrection. It is claimed that some contemporaneous reference was made to Jesus and his followers by Josephus but there is some scholarly suspicion that these references were added by Christians some time later.

It's funny that the resurrection of a dead man did not make the news of the time, or that nobody made a note of all the tombs opening and the dead wandering the streets as claimed in the bible …. Its almost as it it never happened !

It's impossible that on the Easter event, the dead get out of their tombs and graves and walk around town and nobody writes it down. If either of these had happened, we'd have at least a dozen surviving accounts from those historians. Instead, there are zero.

The bible isn't a record of anything, but some historians say there was a very different story of the crusifiction that the bible fabricated to further their narrative, this account states that this fella Jesus was in fact real, but he was not the son of God,

The bible is not a record of the crucifixion. The first of hundreds of versions of the bible was written a century after the supposed event took place. It is a collection of lore, stories of past times passed to succeeding generations by word of mouth. The bible is a story.
