The Shortest Way To The Truth

The Shortest Way To The Truth

There are two important things about knowing God and the way to the salvation of our souls that we have to consider to keep ourselves away from deceptions, to wit:

1. Neither the bible nor John, Luke, Matthew, Paul, and the rest of the apostles is God.

2. Jesus is Immanuel, who is always beside us all the time. He is in a 24/7 watch mode for us who will come to Him and call on Him for the salvation of our souls.

Why do we have to be so obsessed with biblical accounts that we treat them as if they were the only source of truth about God and the salvation of our souls when Jesus is with us always, though we do not see Him yet? He can surely bring us to the truth if we come to Him and call on Him in the right way. Jesus, real and forever living God, is the only way to the truth about God and our salvation.

Ask Him!
Hearing your Jesus voice causes death OneJack.
You have the access, why won't you inquire to him?
You’re fancying on presumptions.
Does it mean, that all you are saying are presumptions?
1. Hearing the voice of your Jesus no one live.
2. Don't you state you've experience conversations with your Jesus?
Yours, not mine!

@OneJack, you appear to say that the Bible is NOT God's way to communicate his truths to us. Is that what you are saying? Yes or no.

If your answer is "yes," your thought directly contradicts Jesus himself on the road to Emmaus after his resurrection:

Luk 24:25  And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
Luk 24:26  Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?”
Luk 24:27  And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Jesus endorses the Scriptures as God's inspired ways to communicate with us through the writers, prophets and apostles, what we need to know about Jesus and his will, as Peter also says:

2Pe 1:19  And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,
2Pe 1:20  knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation.
2Pe 1:21  For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

What is your answer to my question, yes or no?

Bruce Leiter, don't waste your time; that's exactly what he keeps posting. And something about the Father being poured into Christ, and that Jesus is always talking to him.

This narrative of yours is your opinion, so to speak. The Lord Jesus never taught His apostles and disciples that the scriptures, per se, are God's inspired ways to communicate with us through the writers, prophets, and apostles, what we need to know about Jesus, and his will; this is a big lie that is inimical and detrimental to the destiny of our souls. The scriptures are testimonies to the Lord, not God’s way of communicating with us all.

I find Peter’s letter shaded in red not in agreement with Jesus’ teachings

The one shaded in red, verbatim, is not mine but your opinion. I didn’t say that.

Yes, your words, pe se.
Now, can you confirm that hearing the voice of your Jesus will not cause death anymore like the true Jesus in the Bible?
And also can you confirm that no conversation happened in 2011 with your Jesus?

Yes!
Emphasis MINE

Why did Jesus constantly refer to written scripture in validating truths if scripture is not a way God communicates truth to us?
  • Luke 10:26: "What is written in the Law? How do you read it?"
  • Matthew 12:3 & 5: "Have you not read what David did...?" and "Or have you not read in the Law..." regarding the Sabbath.
  • Matthew 19:4: "Have you not read that he who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female'?" regarding marriage.
  • Matthew 21:16: "Yes; have you never read, 'Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise'?"

I only believe what we’ve heard and learned from Jesus ...
How do you know it was Jesus you and your family were in communication with? Wouldn't anything you heard from "Jesus" have to be verified by the words of the Almighty ?
EXODO 3:13, 15
Tell me this, you say you and your family were in communication with spirits for a number of years...

1. Did they EVER claim to be or be representing Almighty God using the Divine Name YHWH "I am Yahweh" some such like expression.

2. Did they ever encourage you (as Jesus did) to read the scriptures?
