The Symbolic Meaning of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil vs. the Tree of Life

The Christian Bible is filled with contrast, opposites and juxtaposition. The Student can utilize these features as an aid to decipher cryptic passages and to help solve Mysteries.

Take the Forbidden Fruit for example. According to Wikipedia, the Forbidden Fruit could be one of several options:
  • Apple
  • Grape
  • Fig
  • Pomegranate
  • Wheat
  • Mushroom
  • Banana
  • Coco de mer
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbidden_fruit

It is an interesting list, but are any of the choices correct? We will now utilize juxtaposition to check.

The Forbidden Fruit grows on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil...

Genesis 2:17
"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

What is this tree juxtaposed to? The Tree of Life...

Genesis 2:9
"And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."

The way this works is that by studying both trees, we can potentially discover something that we did not notice before. Perhaps we can even find the solution to what the Forbidden Fruit really is.

The Tree of Life is described elsewhere in Scripture. Often it is described as Feminine...

Proverbs 3:18
"She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her."

In the Book of Revelation, we find even more details...

Revelation 22:2
"In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."
  • She grows on both sides of the River of Water of Life
  • She bares twelve manner of 'fruit'
  • She yields her fruit every month
  • Her leaves heal the nations
  • She grows inside New Jerusalem
She is definitely Feminine. Note that New Jerusalem is not only Feminine, but a Mom as well...

Galatians 4:26
"But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all."

This is the most important clue. A Mother has given birth to Children, therefore she has a Womb. When we put all of the clues together, we discover that the Tree of Life is symbolic of Ovary inside the Womb of New Jerusalem. This becomes even more apparent when we realize that a Womb that produces Fruit on a Monthly Period is symbolic of a Menstrual Cycle. The Fruit therefore are symbolic of Ovum.

New Jerusalem is also symbolic of Sarah; therefore, we are looking at Sarah's Womb that will ultimately give birth to Abraham's Seed. An Ovum cannot produce a Child until it is fertilized. Thus, the River of Water of the Tree of Life is symbolic of Abraham's Seed that proceeds from the loins of the Father sitting on the Throne. The Lamb represents Abraham's Seed, literally the Seminal Fluid that flows from the Father...

Revelation 22:1
"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb."

The Word was made flesh.

Together, the Ovum and Water of Life combine to produce the Zygote by which the Redeemed will partake to be reconceived into the Glorified Body. The Leaves are the new 'Covering' that will heal and repair the corrupt DNA inherited from Satan.

Juxtaposition Time

Now that we know what the Tree of Life is all about, we can compare it with its contrast to see what we find...

John 8:44
"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

Was Jesus being literal? Of course. So how can the Devil be our Father? It is because the Devil is who fertilized the Ovum growing on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We all partook and here we are. Now you know what the Forbidden Fruit is.

The Forbidden Fruit is the Zygote we all partook of to be conceived into the corrupt Bodies we have now.

Who is Mom? The Earthly Mother that we all come from is the one who holds the Golden Zygote...

Revelation 17:4
"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication"

Yep, there She is and there is the Forbidden Fruit right there in front of your face. It was described the whole time. Did you know? The contents are literal. We are the harlots and abominations she gave birth to.

And there you have it. The Truth of both the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was there all along.

Have a good day.

For those that are really serious about this topic and wish to answer the hardcore questions and criticisms of the non-believers, you need to do a serious deep dive on this stuff.

If, for example, the Tree of Life is some sort of 'life extension potion', how do you then explain why the Tree of Life is necessary in the New Heavens and New Earth? Remember, death is conquered in the New Heavens and New Earth. Angels are immortal and cannot die. So, then why do they need to eat of the Tree of Life? Do you have an answer? I doubt any of you do.

If Adam and Eve were supposed to eat of the Tree of Life, then how were they supposed to have children? You mean to tell me that you teach sex in Heaven? Angels will have orgies and eat the Tree of Life and make babies? Is that what you are telling folks? Yes, you are. This is why the Atheist laugh at you. Most Christians are incapable of critical thinking. Do you even realize that sex and the Tree of Life cannot coincide in the same place?

Moreover, how does the fetus in the womb age if there is no aging? If the baby is immortal, how does it grow up if the parents are eating the Tree of Life all day and feeding it to the baby?

None of you here are able to answer these types of questions, yet you pat yourselves on the back as if you got it all figured out.

When the Devil throws fiery darts at you, your overabundance of pride and hubris are not going to shield you.

Is that correct or incorrect?
Correct.
And who or what do you think the tree represents?

The meaning of the tree of knowledge is that God gave Adam and Eve the privilege of being able to obey Him and remain faithful to Him as their God and Creator. He gave them the opportunity to show unequivocally that they loved Him and wanted to obey Him. As long as they didn't touch the forbidden tree they would be able to go about their business and live forever. But they wanted to decide for themselves what was good and bad. So they ate from the tree, a deliberate act of rebellion.
Yes it was an act of disobedience that Adam and Eve ate of the tree, however as they were of carnal mind they were incapable of keeping the law in the first place.

"because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." Romans 8

Before the world came into existence, God has planned the end from the beginning where His word of a Messiah a savior, one who would execute all of God's will (Isaiah 46), came even before Adam and Eve were formed. God knew that they were not capable of keeping the commandment.

Without God's Spirit working in man there is no good thing. We are fully at God's mercy where without His working Spirit influencing man, the entire earth would be nothing but wickedness 24/7. God has also given man knowledge and wisdom to make all manner of advancements where without Him we would be like that of the most ignorant of cavemen.

Paul said, it is the letter that kills and the Spirit that brings life and "the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness and truth".

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

The one who was righteous and obedient being perfected through his suffering on the cross, is the only mortal man to have God's Spirit come to dwell in him and remain upon him without measure (such was God's word that was from the beginning and spoken by the prophet Isaiah to which became true in the flesh of Jesus of Nazareth at the river Jordan).

Jesus Christ promised that we would be baptized as He was baptized and that we would drink of the cup that He drinks of and that cup is the One Spirit. Our faith and hope is in the promised Spirit that causes us to walk in all of God's ways.

Jesus died but he was resurrected receiving the Promised Spirit and received an incorruptible body becoming a "firstborn of many brethren". When Christ returns we are promised to be made in his image as we are joint heirs with him being heirs of God, begotten of His Spirit to the cause of righteousness. "Those that are led by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God".

Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

As we bear the image of the first man, the carnal man, so shall we bear the image of the second man, the spiritual man who has God's Spirit dwelling in him to the cause of righteousness. God has exposed that man can do nothing good of himself, only God is good and it is He alone that is the source to all goodness, righteousness and truth. In Christ, our Heavenly Father made the powers of His Spirit be known, and we are justified in Jesus Christ for our Father can make us as he is.

The Son of Man is returning where he will fulfill Isaiah 11 doing so because God's Spirit is dwelling in him where by such he will judge the world, not by his own eyes and ears but through the righteousness of God that is in him. Having faith that God perfected a man through His Spirit, God having made a seed of David into His Son as promised, we are promised to be perfected by His Spirit and become Sons of God as well.
