GOD caused the Flood about 4,370 years ago to destroy all humankind and the creatures but mainly to destroy all the Nephilim and other half-human hybrids Satan and his First Gang of Fallen Angels had been creating.

After the Flood GOD told the chidlren of Noah to sprad across the one solid land mass of earth but naturally there arose a defiant man named Nimrod who decided to build himself a city and call all to live with close to it.
He built the tower and apparently used it as a centre of idolatry and worship of imaginary gods.

GOD smote all the builders with a mental affliction making them unabe to understand each other and so they drifted away in family groups and kept walking until they found solitude to settle and grow their own tribe.

This occurred about 175-200 years after The flood by which time unsuspected to all the snow that had started to fall since the Flood was building up on the then poles until one day the Earth became unbalanced and tilted over and spun out of its perfect 360 day orbit until settling in its present one of 365 days.

Simultaneously as the Bible says at Genesis 10:28 'the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided;'

The great geysers of the start of The Flood had cracked the crustal bedrocks and left great voids under the crust.
In Pelegs day the great slabs of crust began falling into the voids to make the great oceans and abysses and some naturally uptilted to make the mountains.

We can be sure of this by the facts that moutainsides all show numerous layers of sediments with some that were obviously still wet when the were uplifted as they have folds and swirls.

Volcanos and black smokers have all only existed since The Flood and are just massive underground fires buring the vast quantities of Flood debris that sank into the geyser voids.
