I am rather fond of this idea. I believe it originates in Christianity, that we are "loved into existence."
It is something that has an endearing quality to it. This idea or conception. Because it follows, naturally, that our being reflects the Being that created it. We are related in the same way a child is related to his father. It's in the blood and sinew as it were. This is in face a good meditation, a meditation of relatedness. Even if you are not a Christian, I think it is a source of great consolation and love.
But what does it mean further, to say that we are "loved into existence"? It means, I think, that we are related to all of reality in a way in which our piece fits perfectly, with absolute consonance, to each part. Love is like a fractal. Each part contains the whole in miniscule, and as a part it contributes to the actual whole.... Nothing here can be awry, except for our errant wills... which are then taken and woven into the higher tapestry of meaning.
