There is no question this was a horrific attack by Hamas on Israel that also endangers Palestinians.
To what extent are attacks like this inevitable, considering the history of Israel?

Isn't this just another example of how religious conflict breeds violence?
or
Is it inevitable that strongly held beliefs will always ignite the passions of some?

Perhaps the difference with religions that claim authority from God is that they inspire absolute beliefs, an absolute conviction they are 'right' and therefore anything is justifiable... including following God's orders to kill your own son.

I just got a tip from a good friend of mine that a landing force of marines are going to land on the shore near Gaza and they will bring tanks.
Their aim is to protect American citizen caught up in this tragic event. Personally, my advice to the IDF is to stand down and stay out of sight until the marines get these Americans out of harm’s way.
Just a suggestion
Only my other side wants the IDF to try and stop them.

You did not answer the questions again. Are all the so-called Muslim that celebrated a terrorist attack actually not Muslims but terrorists? You said terrorist are not Muslims therefore people that celebrate or support terrorists are also not Muslims.

But the rocket launcher was in the hospital before they moved it outside. Are you suggesting it is OK to destroy a hospital if there is a rocket launcher inside or under it?

It can't be used until after it's moved outside. The time to hit it is while it's being set up.

It was also clear that the website was established in December 1999, and was inactive until mid-November 2023. Records show that the website is hosted on server Wix, an Israeli software company established in October 2006 by Avishai Ebrahimi, Nadav Ebrahimi, and Giora Kaplan.
By checking the link on Virus Total, it turned out to be suspicious, where 5 cybersecurity providers considered the website to be malicious.
When opening the website, the antivirus automatically disconnects and shows a warning message that the website is infected with Blacklist malware which could damage devices or networks.

Disgusting. The American People do not support this. Only our corrupt leadership does.

The idea that Israel can't do anything evil because it is a democracy rises to a naive and outright dangerous level of stupidity.

I wonder, do people who support this idea support the converse? All monarchies must be evil, because they're not democracies. They'd see a modern day King Arthur and declare war, because it's not a democracy, so he must be evil. It would not matter what he did or didn't do, just the word his society was called by.

The sick aspect of current culture appears to demand a lack of balance. One must be pro-Jewish or pro Israeli or else one is accused of 'antisemitism.' There are many Jews in Israel who condemn Netanyahu and reject aid from the U.S. to allow the Netanyahu regime to continue its repressive goal of supporting theft of land in the West Bank.

What Hamas did on Oct. 7 was horrific, barbaric, unforgettable. But that does not justify Netanyahu's indifference to the deaths of thousands of Palestinians while seeking to destroy Hamas. American Christians, in general, side with Israel automatically. My bias is this comes from reading the many Bible Stories where the Philistines and others are always the evil ones, the hero Israelites are the good ones killing the evil doers.

Earlier, a claim was made that Israel has been using white phosphorous. Israel has not really responded to the accusation beyond just denying it. Ideally, I'd want them to address the videos showing white phosphorous being used. We might just get that now if the US pressures them on it:

US seeking further information following reports that Israel used white phosphorous munitionsUS State Department spokesperson Matt Miller on Monday reiterated concern about a report that Israel has used white phosphorous in southern Lebanon.

"Obviously there is a legitimate military use for white phosphorus but that does not include using them on civilians," he said at a news briefing.
"Anytime that we provide items like white phosphorus or really anything to another military, we do it with the expectation that it will be used for legitimate purposes and in fully keeping with humanitarian law and law of armed conflict," he said.

Miller said that the US is looking into the matter and "for additional information."

CNN is unable to confirm the use of phosphorous munitions. In a previous statement to CNN, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that it uses “only legal weapons and ammunition.”

Israel's history with white phosphorus: Israel previously faced widespread criticism for firing white phosphorus shells over densely populated areas during a Gaza offensive that began in late 2008. HRW said in a 2009 report that Israel's white phosphorus munitions had killed and injured civilians and damaged civilian structures, including a school, a market, a humanitarian aid warehouse, and a hospital. HRW claimed that Israel's use of the weapons in crowded neighborhoods "violated international humanitarian law (the laws of war), which requires taking all feasible precautions to avoid civilian harm and prohibits indiscriminate attacks."

In response, Israel pledged to limit the use of white phosphorus and make greater efforts to protect civilians during conflicts. Still, the government said that it had used white phosphorus lawfully.
