After 9/11 people put aside their difference in the U.S. to consider the problems facing them and the rest of the world today. Suddenly the people that were discussing who was hotter on the cover of maxim started talking politics. Everyone decided it was more important to be patriotic.
In light of this, is it safe to assume that the antihero is a pyschological force needed in today's world? We can give credit to terrorism to sparking a patriotic flame; will it take a common, more suffisticated enemy to unite the world?
Do we need an antihero?
