The president of a prominent Southern Baptist seminary says he would support medical treatment, if it were available, to change the sexual orientation of a fetus inside its mother's womb from homosexual to heterosexual.

interesting post. Would it surprise you to know that you just described how our relationship with God should be? We can speak the truth to Him and still be loved. We can scream in fear or anger....and still be loved and accepted. We can dance with joy before Him. God doesnt have to explain everything.....we can just enjoy Him....and in doing so enjoy life. I would respectfully say that you have the wrong ideas about religion (and i can understand, we have done a lot to screw it up from what it should be)......I dont have to bargain with God. I have been redeemed and I am His child. makes me wanna dance with joy

He? You might still seem to be suffering from some of those very same screw-ups! I mean no disrespect but how can you be so sure that you haven't fallen for something no less screwy? There are other explanations for the appearance of design in all the apparent providence we find around us.

i do still suffer from some of the same screw ups. I'm still in the flesh. I'll screw up till heaven. Its the human condition to do so. what else would explain the design and order we see in the universe?

From the spiritual side, I have to place the question. Does God care what I do with my body parts?

As an agent responsible for the up-keep of a hundred billion Galaxies typically containing some half a trillion stars, it is beyond my ability to imagine there being the slightest interest in what goes on behind bedroom doors. Really.

And so did the Muslims responsible for hijacking an enumeration of planes with the aim of smashing them into an enumeration of highly populated targets. I'm afraid college degrees these days are not proof enough of acumen, intellect, or wisdom.

We have yet to know though what effect if any happens to the brain, mind of the fetus.
