All the words and teachings of Jesus?

Does the Bible contain all the teachings and words of Jesus Christ ?

Does the Bible give indication or evidence that there are more of his teachings that we do not currently have?

The Bible does not contain all the teachings and words of the Lord Jesus Christ since the Bible itself is not the Lord Jesus Christ. All the teachings and words of the Lord Jesus Christ are absolutely in His mouth at all times.

The Bible is a book of testimonies to the existence of the Lord Jesus, and it cannot teach us anything. It only gives us its written words, which we interpret or expound to others in a conversation or discussion like this. If we want to know the truth about the teachings of the Lord that are not found in the bible today, all we have to do is come to the Lord, call on Him, and listen to Him when He responds.

Bible indicates Jesus did more than what is said in the Bible. Maybe it means he also taught more than what is said. I believe all important teachings are in the Bible.

And there are also many things, whatever Jesus did, which if they were written singly, I suppose the world itself could not contain the books having been written. Amen.

If two Christans ask Jesus about the same thing and the answers they believe they get are in conflict, how is the conflict to be resolved?

Since they are Christians, in your premise, even though they get different answers for the same question, the conflict that you see there is not a conflict at all to the perception of the two Christians, who separately asked the Lord Jesus in this regard. The differing answers serve as trials to both of them by the Lord. Will they accuse the Lord of lying, or will they turn their back on the Lord for teaching them two different things for the same question? Christians know that the trials of the Lord never cease to exist, and no one knows when or how they [trials of the Lord] will strike each one of them in the flock of the Lord.

Dear OneJack,

You gave the following interesting response to may question:

Does the Bible contain all the teachings and words of Jesus Christ ?

My response to your answer:

According to your answer it would appear that you believe in current revelation from Christ. Is this correct?

Why not just give them both the same correct answer so as to avoid authoring confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33)? If they ask, it's supposed to be given to them. If they seek, they're supposed to find. If they knock, it's supposed to be open to them (Matthew 7:7). And if he knows what's in their human hearts (John 2:25), he shouldn't have to try them.

Yes, I believe in what we've heard and learned from the real and forever living Christ Jesus, who randomly shepherded us for approximately 14 years starting CY 2001.

John 16:12

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.”

John 16:25

“These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.”

That’s the word - confusion - one of the deeper trials of the Lord to all. The much coveted prize to maintain in overcoming ‘CONFUSION’ is eternal life and salvation. The Lord has to pack and shake together His sheep to fortify their faith and to purify them as in 24 karat gold.
