Okay, Let's Cut To The Chase!

Dear Christians of all flavor(s),

I trust it is no surprise there exists a populous here, which lay claim to 'atheism', 'deism', or maybe other... In a nutshell, for me, this ultimately means I do not believe any such claimed Christian God exists - trying though as I might.... Which-is-to-mean, I was raised in a Christian house hold. However, after much study, I cannot get myself to belief such a claimed agent actually exists. Chalk it up, ultimately, to the topic of 'divine hiddenness' I guess...?

It is also evident there exists devout 'Christians' in this arena, of all flavors, who may feel they are 'fighting the good fight'; by defending their belief(s)/faith/rationale in the assertion of the existence to the "Christian God".

That being said, I am laying down the gauntlet, so-to-speak... Some here, as well as outside of here, are as sure as anything, that not only does God exist, but the Christian God! Well, I politely disagree. Meaning, I don't believe the "Christian based" assertion/claim.

I can't imagine this request will be anything new. Nor, can I imagine that I will encounter any new sort of enlightenment. But, being this is a rather large and important topic; I will continue to search, optimistically, that there exists some sort of 'concrete evidence(s)' to demonstrate that not only a God exists ---> but also the Christian God.

If you are trying to sell someone a lemon, it makes sense to pre-empt any counters to your pitch in order to prevent them from being effective. So, if someone wisely asks for proof they automatically paint themselves as being wicked. Great tactic, but only works well on the gullible.

Hmm... Explain to me what you mean by 'practice'? Otherwise:

IF all 'sin', then all practice 'sin'.

They know its a sin yet continue to do it regularly.= practice a sin. Some slip and do minor sins, some even slip and do major sins. one needs to turn around and repent if they do.

If a 'slip' counts, then my prior statement stands. --> IF all 'sin', then all practice 'sin'.

If a 'slip' does not count, I would think all still practice sin. Why? Case/point, you may have to practice a sin to save someone. (i.e.)

The difference? Atheists don't believe ANY of the religions; you reject them all but one. You make the claim that one is true, and, thus, the burden of proof falls on you, not the atheists...Sure, atheists have to refute the claims made and you know we do that, even if you deny it and rely on Faith.

Can you present any data - beyond the book making the claims - that supports your previously challenged claims, to include these new claims you've presented? It's not uncommon to have theists present their religious texts as proof their religious texts're truthful. Then we get this whole "God won't do nothing to help me show I speak truth, cause you're a 'sinner'."

This is a damnedable dodge on the part of those who've been shown, repeatedly, to be incapable of showing they speak truth. It's an attempt to smear the challenger, for nothing more than to protect the theist's fragile argument, or ego, or both.

All done obliviously unaware of how such tactics might lead folks to think the theist ain't nothing but a liar, and don't that beat all, the theist calls lying a 'sin'.
