What's up my peoples.

Post by open mind »

Hey everybody. I'm sort of new to this site. I've been talking with my husband(upallnite) about his participation in these debates since he first came across this site. I hope I can have as much fun as he has had so far. As far as my beliefs, I consider myself to be pantheist. I also have pretty laid back opinions about other peoples beliefs and tend to be open minded about most everything. I've been that way ever since I can remember, even though I played the part of a good little christian girl to make my parents happy when I was young. But please don't take this statement as a sign of weakness. I am laid back until someone tries to push their beliefs on me and tell me I'm a bad person, then I lash out. I think we can all act like adults though.

Welcome, open mind. I'm fairly new here myself and have found it is like many forums. Most folks are pretty nice, but things do get heated from time to time. I think you'll like it here though.

It's my baby!

If you bring up stuff that happened 3 years ago I am going to call foul play.

That would be up to you. I am sure that you will.

Funny, when I use the phrase when I was young, I think about being about your age. :-k

Welcome Open Mind. Your husband is a capable debater on this forum.

Does he do as well in debate at home?

I look forward to your posts.

I do not do very well when debating my wife. She is able to pull the "no cookie for you" card. Our theological views differ mostly on semantics. Our political views differ mostly on who is best to achieve the goals we both support. We enjoy many of the same hobbies.

I thought she would enjoy arguing with someone different for a change. :P Perhaps her views will evolve by using this site, like mine have.
