Tall buildings

He asked the Prophet: "When will the Hour be?' He (saw) said: 'The one who is being asked about it does not know more than the one who is asking.'
He asked: 'Then what are its signs?' he said: when you see barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings.

1400 years ago an illiterate man in the desert claimed we'd see the bedouins competing in building tall buildings.

If we take a look at

Allah gives falsification tests. Allah says in the Quran that if you believe that the Quran is from other than the one true God then produce a book like it. This is known as the linguistic miracle of the Quran that can not be imitated by a human. 1400 years have passed and no one has been able to meet this challenge.

-

Allah also says that if you think the Quran is from other than the one true God then you should be able to find within it contradictions.

We believe the quran is the direct word of god. God spoke to the angel gabriel who revealed the quran to the prophet Muhammad who's followers wrote it down. The quran has certain parameters to prove its truthfulness. God says, "if this book were from other than God you would've found within it many inconsistencies" just like in science, we have a falsification test. Also God says "we revealed the reminder and we will preserve it" the quran claims that it'll he preserved, additionally we believe the quran is inimitable. God challenged the Arabs of old "make a chapter like it" if you don't believe the quran is from god then create something like it. Something that speaks about morality and law and history and science and has prophecies and is memorised by millions. We believe these 3 tests are what's nessecary for a book to even be considered to be from God. The Bible on the other hand is not preserved, it has had insersions and omissions. The bible is not free from error, the book of job speaks about how the earth has 4 legs like a table, the bible isn't inimitable, there are so many different editions of the bible. From this perspective we say the bible doesn't even have a right to be considered as a book from God.

Islam gives the best way of life and I challenge anyone to give a better way of life. For example, it prohibits the poisons that are destroying individuals, families and communities: gambling, alcohol, drugs, sexual immorality, prostitution, pornography, interest dealings etc. We have politicians educated at the best university possible but they can not provide guidance and a way of life better than an illiterate man 1400 years ago that has solutions to the poisons that are destroying societies today and instead encourage it and profit out of them.

The Quran contains knowledge that could not have been known such as scientific facts, historical facts and prophecies. To suggest the the facts mentioned in the Quran is a coincidence when it has been demonstrated to be correct over and over again is absurd and delusional. Also, if the Quran copied from the Bible then how was it able to correct the historical mistakes the Bible makes? To say that the Quran copied from the Greeks is also absurd because there are things that the Greeks were wrong about which the Quran gets right. Also if it copied from the Greeks then it would have copied the the things that they got wrong too but that is not the case. For some examples, go to minute 21:40 of this video:

Afghan Girl Claims That Muslims Are Blind Followers?! Muhammed Ali

We can also study the life of prophet Muhammad and can rule out that he was crazy, liar, delusional, deceived and therefore the only possible explanation remaining is that he has indeed who he claim to be, the final messenger of God. The authentic sayings and teachings of Muhammad (hadiths) is also more preserved than any history book due to the way it has been preserved.

Islam is simple, makes sense and it fits in with your natural inclination/disposition that you were born with. For example, one great creator that did not leave us alone without guidance or purpose and sent messengers with the same core message . He does not switch up the message and confuse people. He is not racist or ethnocentric where he believes that you have to be born from a particular tribe or nation to be saved or to receive guidance. He does not punish someone unless the message has been sent to them through messengers and prophets. Everyone is born sinless, a kid is not held accountable for his actions until he reaches the age of maturity, neither is a person who is mentally insane and not aware of his actions. The main beliefs in Islam is to believe in the one true God, his angels, his messengers, revelation that was given to these messengers, destiny, day of judgement and life after death. Allah warns us about eternal hellfire and gives us glad tidings of the opportunity to live eternally in paradise by worshiping him alone without any partners and following and obeying the messenger of your time. Islam is simply the submission of will to the one true God, a person who does this is called a muslim.

This is an example of a youtube channel that you can watch to learn more about Islam and how it compares to other religions such as atheism, christianity etc:

https://m.youtube.com/TheMuslimLantern/videos

If you are convinced that Allah is the only one worthy of worship and Muhammad is final messenger then you are ready to become a muslim and start your journey one step at a time.

Did John the Baptist Know Jesus?

Jesus never met John the Baptist

Accounts in the gospels that mention the baptism of Jesus:

And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mark 1:9-11 KJV also Matthew 3:16:-17 records a similar account.

But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,
Added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison.
Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven Luke 3:19-22 KJV

How could John baptise Jesus if John was in prison (John was not released and died in prison). If Jesus was sinless (as the Christians are taught) why did he need to be baptised?

John had never met Jesus and sent his disciples to enquire if Jesus was the Messiah. When John the Baptist was imprisoned, he never left the prison, he was executed by decapitation.

Two accounts prove that he never met Jesus and sent his disciples to enquire.

And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.

And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached Luke 7:18-22 KJV also the same account in Matthew 11:2-5

Muhammad ibn (son of) Abdullah ibn (son of) Abdul Mutalib, was born on 12 Rabi 'Awwal in the year 570 C.E. (Christian Era) in Makkah, (today: Saudi Arabia) and he died in 633 C.E. in Yathrib (today: Madinah, Saudi Arabia)

In Arabic the word prophet (nabi) is derived from the word naba which means news. Thus we deduce that a prophet spreads the news of God and His message, they are in a sense Gods ambassadors on earth. Their mission is to convey the message to worship One God. This includes, calling the people to God, explaining the message, bringing glad tidings or warnings and directing the affairs of the nation. All the prophets were anxious to convey Gods message sincerely and completely and this included the last prophet, Muhammad. During his final sermon Prophet Muhammad asked the congregation three times whether he had delivered the message, and called on God to witness their answer, which was a resounding yes!.

As well as the essence of their call to One God, another accepted sign of the truth of the prophets is how they live their lives. The accounts of Prophet Muhammads life that we have inherited from our righteous predecessors illustrate that Muhammads Prophethood was guided by God from the very beginning. Long before, Prophethood Muhammad was being prepared to guide humankind to the straight path and his life experiences stood him in good stead for such a weighty mission. Then at the age of 40 when Prophethood was bestowed upon him, God continued to support and affirm his mission. Any account of Muhammads life is filled with examples of his exemplary character; he was merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, and generous, while striving solely for the rewards of the Hereafter. The way Prophet Muhammad dealt with his companions, acquaintances, enemies, animals and even inanimate objects left no doubt that he was ever mindful of God.

Muhammads birth was accompanied by many so called miraculous events and the talk of the extraordinary events no doubt functioned as signs of Prophethood,

Special but not unique circumstances surrounded childhood of Prophet Muhammad and these undoubtedly had a bearing on his character. By the time he was eight years old he had suffered through the death of both his parents and his beloved grandfather Abdul Muttalib. He was left in the care of his uncle and great supporter Abu Talib. Thus even as a young boy he had already suffered great emotional and physical upheaval. Both the many chroniclers of Muhammads life and the Quran acknowledge his disrupted life.

Did He not find you (O Muhammad) an orphan and gave you a refuge? (Quran 93:6)

Muhammads uncle Abu Talib was poor and struggled to keep his family fed, thus during his adolescence Muhammad worked as a shepherd. From this occupation he learned to embrace solitude and developed characteristics such as patience, cautiousness, care, leadership and an ability to sense danger. Shepherding was an occupation that all the prophets of God we know of had in common. The companions asked, Were you a shepherd? He replied, There was no prophet who was not a shepherd.[1]

In his teens Muhammad sometimes travelled with Abu Talib, accompanying caravans to trade centres. On at least one occasion, he is said to have travelled as far north as Syria. Older merchants recognized his character and nicknamed him Al-Amin, the one you can trust. Even in his youth he was known as truthful and trustworthy. One story that is accepted by most Islamic scholars and historians is the account of one of Prophet Muhammads trips to Syria.

The story goes that the monk Bahira foretold the coming Prophethood and counselled Abu Talib to guard his nephew carefully. According to biographer Ibn Ishaq, as the caravan in which Prophet Muhammad was travelling approached the edge of town, Bahira could see a cloud that appeared to be shading and following a young man. When the caravan halted under the shadow of some trees, Bahira looked at the cloud when it over-shadowed the tree, and its branches were bending and drooping over the apostle of God until he was in the shadow beneath it. After Bahira witnessed this he observed Muhammad closely and asked him many questions concerning a number of Christian prophecies he had read and heard about.

The young Muhammad was distinguished among his people for his modesty, virtuous behaviour and graceful manners, thus it was no surprise for his companions to see him, even as a youth many years before Prophethood, shun superstitious practices and keep away from drinking alcohol, eating meat slaughtered on stone altars or attending idolatrous festivals. By the time he reached adulthood Muhammad was thought of as the most reliable and trustworthy member of the Meccan community. Even those who concerned themselves with petty tribal squabbles acknowledged Muhammads honesty and integrity.

Muhammads virtues and good moral character was established from a young age, and God continued to support and guide him. When he was 40 years old Muhammad was given the means to change the world, the means to benefit the whole of humanity

Green Deserts

The prophet of Islam said a day would come when the deserts would turn green.

Prophet Mohamed spoke very carefully about a scientific fact realized by scientists few years ago. He said ( God will not held day of resurrection unless Arab land returns greens and rivers again ) [Narrated by Muslim.] scientifically, it was proved that one day the Arabian peninsula was full of greens and rivers as satellite photos confirm that there are buried rivers under the sand of Arab land , one of the great scientists of the American space agency (NASA) says that the taken photos for the desert had shown that one day this area was covered with rivers and lakes like Europe and one day in the future it will back again like the past.

NASA scientists confirms that one day desert of Rub ' Al Khali and the Arabian Peninsula was covered with rivers, forests and animals and they confirm that this land will back again like the past , as referenced by the prophetic Hadith.

Indeed the desert is turning green. As depicted by the images,
this is yet another sign we have seen come true in our own life time.
In your own grandparents time none of this existed.

Saudi Arabia Makes Big Move To Green The Desert
The Kingdom is getting serious about going green.

The Prophet (saw) spoke the truth.

All of these signs so far are recently fulfilled. Do not be amongst the headless. The hour indeed is near.

Since the text never mentions what counts as “tall,” we’ll have to use some conjecture here. But Arabia absolutely did have tall buildings (many of them mosques, ironically) in the premodern era.

-The great mosque of Samara was nearly 200 feet tall, which was enormous for the ancient world. It would have been taller than any structure in Arabia during Muhammad’s time. Definitely a “tall building” by standards of the time.

-The lighthouse of Alexandria is even older and would have been at least 330 feet tall, making it nearly the same height as the pyramids and clearly a “tall building” in the Arab world.

-The UAE is a wealthy, developed nation. Hardly “barefoot, naked, destitute” the way Muhammad “predicted.”

-“Tall buildings” is too vague a prediction to be veridical. As an example, Homer predicted ““thinking machines” in the Iliad, nearly 1,000 years before Muhammad’s birth and 2,700+ years before AI and robotics were invented. By this standard, Homer must be a greater prophet than Muhammad!

A prophecy that came true in the past 15 years. This is the story of the Bedouins, the people who went from tents to skyscrapers in a single generation.

When the Prophet ﷺ was asked about the signs of the Final Hour, one sign he mentioned was: "when you see the barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings.” Asked to elaborate further, the Prophet ﷺ said they are from the Arabs.

Anyone familiar with Middle Eastern history would immediately recognize that this prophecy refers to a very specific group: the Bedouins, or Bedu. The Bedouins were the nomads of the Arabs, living simple but volatile lives. They were described as “barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds” due to their lifestyle. It is already hard enough to get by in the harsh conditions of the deserts of Arabia, let alone when you lived like the Bedouins. Amazingly, they led such lives for almost all of history, even during the Golden Ages of the Islamic empires. We have recorded accounts from as recently as the 1970s that show how volatile the Bedouin lifestyle was.

For example, around the year 1945, Sir Wilfred Thesiger writes in the Arabian Sands:

“Their way of life naturally made them fatalists; so much was beyond their control. It was impossible for them to provide for a morrow when everything depended on a chance fall of rain or when raiders, sickness, or any one of a hundred chance happenings might at any time leave them destitute, or end their lives.”

We also have a documentary from the 1970s on Abu Dhabi, UAE. The narrator comments that the Bedouins have a “biblical rhythm” to their lives, meaning they lived as people did 5000 years ago during biblical times. Baking bread in clay ovens, herding animals, and living in what would now be considered rags. Despite their lifestyle, the Bedouins made up a major portion of the Arabian population. For example, the UAE was mostly inhabited by Bedouins just 40 years ago.

In the span of a mere 30 years, however, these Bedouin villages in the UAE have become the home of the wealthiest people on Earth, who today live in skyscrapers. Competing with one another wasn’t satisfying enough though, as the Bedouins have started competing with the entire world. As of 2024, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai remains the tallest building on Earth at 828 meters.
A side by side of the Bedouins of the past and the UAE today. “Only just over 40 years ago simple Bedouin villages existed where today’s skyscrapers stand.”

A side by side of the Bedouins of the past and the UAE today.
“Only just over 40 years ago simple Bedouin villages existed where today’s skyscrapers stand.”

To further push the point home that they were competing with one another and the world, another competition began soon after the Burj Khalifa was built. A Saudi family has announced that they would be building a skyscraper taller than the Burj Khalifa, the Jeddah Tower, and it is currently in progress.

This raises a question: Why would the Prophet ï·º predict such an event?

If someone were fabricating prophecies to gain followers, it would make no sense to make such an improbable and specific claim. You would be assuming that the Bedouins, who barely survive every passing day, will somehow become so powerful that they can waste their time and resources competing in the building of tall buildings.

In “The Forbidden Prophecies”, Abu Zakariah explains how odd such a prediction is:

“What would motivate Muhammed to even make such a prediction? If he was going to make up such a prophecy it would make more sense to relate this prophecy to the superpowers of his time: Rome, Persia, or even China who (unlike the Arabs) already had a tendency to construct extravagant buildings and palaces… [Instead,] Muhammad could have made a prediction such as “you will see the construction of tall buildings”.”

On all accounts, such a specific and unintuitive prediction can only be made by someone very confident it will come true. What is shocking is how precise this prophecy really is. The Prophet ï·º specified that it would be the Bedouins themselves, not their descendants, competing to build tall buildings, as their descendants would no longer be Bedouins. Yet, even with this added layer of precision, that is exactly what happened. The book summary of Rags to Riches, an eye-witness account of the transformation of the UAE states:

"Born in 1948, in Abu Dhabi, the author knew dreadful poverty for years before fabulous oil wealth transformed his country forever. He grew up in the ruler's palace, barefoot like his playmates, now senior figures in the United Arab Emirates." "This is a vivid eye-witness account of the total transformation within only 30 years of a Bedouin society into a country with the world's highest per capita income.”

Have you heard of Rohingya Muslims?

Their citizenship revoked and being forced from their homeland.

Myanmar's military began a crackdown on them only a few years ago.
rohingya village.JPG
This village was destroyed in 2017.

Burma's war on Muslims
Date : August 25, 2017 – present
Destruction of many villages
Tens of thousands of people killed and raped
700,000+ refugees fled abroad

Have you heard about
Kashmir's Muslim population?

For 2 years India placed
Kashmir under house arrest cutting off their communications with the outside world.

Kashmir's silent suffering.

Kashmir placed on genocide watch.

Syria?
Palestine?
Yemen?
What about the Uighur?

Millions in concentration camps for no other reason then they say "Our Lord Is Allah"

Men are beaten because they have a beard. They are force fed if they attempt to fast. Forced to drink alcohol and eat pork.
Women are raped, their coverings removed, married off to non-Muslims while Islam forbids a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim.

Imagine the government taking your wife and giving her away in marriage to a stranger.

The Prophet (saw) said a day would come when holding on to ones religion would be like holding on to a hot stone.

Imagine that. If you have faith hanging on to it would be equivalent of sticking your hand into a fire, grabbing a piece of wood and hanging on to it.

Has this day not arrived?

Sadly for millions it has.

May the Almighty strengthen the believers and ease their suffering.

Indeed this life does not matter, it is merely a bus stop.

The Inquisition was devised to combat heresy within Christianity. If anyone’s views opposed or stood against the Catholic Church, they would be deemed as heretics and executed by fire without pity. Neither age or sex made a difference, women and children and old men were tortured. Jews and Muslims were also punished. The Inquisitions commenced on 1231 A.D. and lasted roughly 500 years.

“The Inquisition was the most Infamous and devilish thing in human history. It was devised by Popes, and used by them for 500 years to maintain their power.”

“Think of Monks and Priests, in holy garments, directing, with heartless cruelty and inhuman brutality, the work of Torturing and burning alive Innocent men and women, and doing it in the name of Christ by the direct order of the ‘Vicar of Christ’” Henry H. Halley”, Halley’s bible handbook.

H Ellerbe writes that “Victims were rubbed with lard or grease and slowly roasted alive. Ovens built to kill people, made infamous in twentieth century Nazi Germany were first used by the Christian Inquisition in Eastern Europe. Victims were thrown into a pit full of snakes and buried alive.”

One particularly gruesome torture involved turning a large dish full of mice upside down on the victim’s naked stomach. A fire was then lit on top of the dish causing the mice to panic and burrow into the stomach.”

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was not only a Prophet sent with a special message to be delivered to the whole mankind, but he was, still is, and will continue illuminating the minds of people, unlocking their hearts to the truth through the pearls of wisdom with which he guided the baffled humanity to the right path along the course of centuries.

The Prophet SAWS never engaged in aggression and he always preferred peace, but when it was necessary, he would engage in self-defense. He also placed strict rules in combat for all Muslims to follow:

Do not cut down trees

Do not damage buildings

Do not target civilians

Do not terrorize the population

Target only soldiers of the enemy

Be merciful if the enemy gives up

Do not continue battling if the enemy surrenders

These are only some of the rules.

Mohammad Hijab said in an interview with Jordan B Peterson: "While Islam has the ability of making wars, it also has the ability of creating peace treaties"

-- Some people would argue that peace cannot exist alongside war, but this is a fallacy, because in order to protect peace and order, you would have to defend it, whether by diplomacy or militarily, if necessary.

Imagine a country that’s being attacked. They get killed, oppressed and they don’t do anything to defend themselves. Where’s the logic?

If not, imagine someone trying to break in your house and steal everything, rape all people inside. What would you do? Let them? Or fight them?

He only went to war after being:

Exiled from his hometown

Surviving multiple assassination attempts

Having his daughter mortally wounded

Having several of his early followed tortured and martyred.

Having their properties seized
Millions of people who studied his true biography from the original Arabic sources or even through Islamic centers specialized in the Quran and his biography in different languages embraced Islam immediately

And as I said, the biography of the Prophet is very flawed and many of the hadiths about the Prophet are not true

Therefore, I always search for the original source of the event before talking about it

The Prophet never lied in his life, but rather he commanded all good qualities.

Prophet Muhammad forbade usury, adultery, alcohol, gambling and incest,

but we find these calamities in the bible
