Please prove that souls exist and that they are either resurrected or reincarnated
Post #1Most religions claim that souls exist. Some religions claim that souls are immortal and are reincarnated after the death of the body while other religions claim that souls are immortal and are resurrected after the death of the body. Can anyone please prove that souls exist and are either resurrected or reincarnated? Thank you.

Post #581How do you form thoughts? Do you order the chemicals and electrical impulses in your God-given brain to come up with thoughts you can share with others? How does your physical body give you knowledge? By osmosis?Clownboat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 11:27 amOnce again you fail to amend your thinking.marke wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 2:08 amYou do not explain how humans form thoughts and engage in logical discussions without the benefit of a human soul. Are thoughts formed by the wind? Is logic the product of random electrical charges?Clownboat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 12:08 pmmarke wrote:Those who deny the spiritual aspect of humans will be left without an explanation for the source of thoughts and logic.Clownboat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 2:11 pm Demonstrably wrong, again...
One could deny the spiritual and then credit a functioning mind for thoughts (neurons firing in the brain which is what we already know is happening) which then form logic.
If we are being honest with each other, with this explanation, the spiritual isn't needed. However, if the cause was spiritual, we still have neurons firing which wouldn't be needed and that is a bit unnecessary and therefore odd.Is this you admitting that you were wrong as I demonstrated? Have you amended your thinking?marke wrote:How do neurons know what to say in arguments requiring reason? Do neurons have intelligence of their own? If neurons can think on their own what then gives them that ability, random uncharted electrical charges?
I would like to know before you move us on to another topic as I fear you offer distractions in order for you to maintain your preconceived beliefs even though they have been shown to be misplaced.
You said: "Those who deny the spiritual aspect of humans will be left without an explanation for the source of thoughts and logic."
You were shown to be incorrect. Have you corrected your thinking or found a way to challenge how I showed your words to be wrong?
Furthermore, even if we were to pretend that we don't know how thoughts work, that would not mean that there is a soul. Do you understand this?

Post #582It's rude for you to ignore my questions that I take time out of my day to type for you only to then ask me more questions.
I'll try to lead by example though, as that would be the Christ like thing to do.
I form them within my functioning brain. I assume all humans form thoughts in this way. Would you like to propose some other mechanism besides a functioning brain? How do you form thoughts?
I do not order my chemicals, but I acknowledge the chemical reactions taking place in the brain for things like 'love' for example. This is happening, but I'm not ordering it to happen.Do you order the chemicals and electrical impulses....
Bodies don't give knowledge best I can tell, so I find your question very odd. However, a functioning brain would be required in order to gain knowledge. Knowledge is not gained by osmosis, so I find that question very odd as well, but unfortunately it is par for the course with you.How does your physical body give you knowledge?
Is there a reason you ignore my questions only to then ask me dumb ones in return? Do I not deserve to hear your point of view? What if you had something to say that challenged something I currently believe or find credible? I can only guess you are ashamed of your responses when you start responding to the questions so you then erase what you started typing and deflect by asking more and more questions.
You can give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day, or you can teach a man to pray for fish and he will starve to death.
I blame man for codifying those rules into a book which allowed superstitious people to perpetuate a barbaric practice. Rules that must be followed or face an invisible beings wrath. - KenRU

Post #585How does a human soul assist in the formation of thoughts?
How does AI go about responding to your requests and formulating answers to your questions?
George Orwell:: “The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.”
Voltaire: "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."
Gender ideology is anti-science, anti truth.

I told you that I would try to lead by example.
I told you I form thoughts within my functioning brain.
I told you that I don't order chemicals in my brain around, but acknowledge how these chemicals do control things and used 'love' as an example.
I told you that knowledge is not gained by osmosis.
I asked if there was a reason that you ignore my questions.
I asked if I didn't deserve to hear your responses.
I guessed that you are ashamed of what your responses would be.
All of this was in the post you quoted though. Are you not reading my posts or not comprehending them? If the latter, I can attempt to elucidate. If the former, you will have to help yourself.

Post #588Your way of posting seems way easier. Let me try it on you...marke wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 11:48 pmYou are your soul and your soul and body are united on earth. Your body could not form thoughts without you and you cannot form thoughts without your body.
You do not have a soul. Your functioning brain forms your thoughts and this is done without a soul.
Yeah debate!

(I must admit, making empty claims is way easier then providing evidence for the things said. So I do understand why you would prefer this way of speaking at people)

I am a busy man. I cannot answer every argument I encounter. There simply isn't enough time. When you form thoughts in your brain, how do you do it, unless you first form thoughts to enable you to form thoughts? Or is thinking as natural as breathing to creatures given the miracle of life by God?

Post #590How is it that you can't find the time to answer my questions, yet you can find the time to ask question after question? For the sake of debate, please pretend that we don't know how thoughts are formed. I would like to see what point you are trying to make, if you even have one that is.
