For those who accepted Christ...
if God didn't exist, would you be surprised?

I became a Christian in high school, when I wasn't mature enough to understand the happenings in life. Now I understand them clearly by understanding more of life. It's said that God does 99.9% of the work for us during our walk with Him, and we do the latter .1% percent (our leap of faith). But now the more I ponder rationally, He was mostly comfort when things weren't so great and there was probably a lot of luck involved that got me from where my family and I was 15 years ago to where I am now. If He didn't exist, I could still see secular reason for most things that helped my family and me through the hardships of life. Would I be surprised? It's hard to say no- regardless of how much sense life would make when considering all the factors involved- because He's been such an integral part of my life.

That's my epiphany for today. Any Christians care to share?

No. I'd be dead. :D

I disagree that we do the latter 0.1%. As a Calvinist, I believe the Biblical position is that God does the full 100%. We do not and in fact cannot do anything--even 0.1%--to save ourselves.

That aside, if God didn't exist, then by the time I would find out I'd be dead.

That said, I think it's impossible for God not to exist, so I don't think it's really relevant to me.

So anyway...
