Please answer with references to specific chapters/verses in the Bible.
This is what I have learned as Christian theology from my upbringing:
Jesus will come in The Second Coming and leave every one else to remain on Earth.
Questions:
1) What will happen to the remaining people? Will Jesus come a Third time to save them?
2) What will the Earth become?
3a) Of the people saved during the Second Coming-- Will they be immediately sent to Heaven, or as I was told, be sent to a temporary place called Paradise and await the people that were left on Earth?
3b) If the latter is true and everybody is given a second chance in the end, will the people already in Hell be saved as well?
How many times will Jesus come back to Earth?

There are as many different theories to Christian eschatology as there are Christian denominations. When I was Eastern Orthodox, I accepted the church's teachings of eschatology called amillenial idealism, that is, that the millenium is not a literal thousand year reign of Christ, but that he was already reigning from heaven, and that the millenium was symbolic for a long time, and that Revelation was not to be understood literally, or even symbolic, but that it was a teaching that applied to Christians of all ages, for all time, and that the symbolic imagery was allegorical to that effect. But it really depends on which Christian you ask, and they can give Bible verses to prove their position. It all comes down to a matter of how you interpret the texts.

From the OP:
I don't think it's been proven this second coming will occur. I realize a book says so, but it also says donkeys spoke to humans.
There is no evidence a second coming is in the offing.
There is no evidence a third coming is in the offing.
1- There will be a second coming
2- Folks will/won't go to Heaven/Paradise
3- This Heaven/paradise exists
4- Any stage of this process will be temporary/permanent
I just don't see why one would assume all the above is apt to occur based on the words of Bronze Age tribesmen.
Any of the scenarios/places here occurring/existing
This OP assumes far too much to be considered anything but a Theology, Doctrine & Dogma topic.
Where is the evidence any of the proposed items are anything other than myth?
If you wish to limit responses to the Bible, then I propose this subject be moved to Theology, Doctrine & Dogma. If not, here's my inflation adjusted two cents:Opie wrote: Please answer with references to specific chapters/verses in the Bible.

This makes too many assumptions for me. I'll ask for evidence for:Opie wrote: 3a) Of the people saved during the Second Coming-- Will they be immediately sent to Heaven, or as I was told, be sent to a temporary place called Paradise and await the people that were left on Earth?

Too many assumptions again. Let's ask for evidence for:Opie wrote: 3b) If the latter is true and everybody is given a second chance in the end, will the people already in Hell be saved as well?
