Question for Debate: Do angels have free will?
Do all of them have free will, or only Lucifer? It would make sense, that he was God's favourite, since God gave him the choice, and he praised God by that choice.
If you think the rest of them don't have free will, you probably do, however, need to ignore the Book of Enoch. Which of course the canon of the Bible does. Most of the accepted ones anyway.

Re: Do Angels have Free Will?
Post #4I agree. Satan was an archangel, and his staff was a host of angels.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9)
Although we do not know the exact number under Satan's authority, it was one-third of the total number of angels. Satan and the angels who joined his rebellion against God were exiled from the Kingdom of God and restricted to ruling the earth:
And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth... (Revelation 12:4)
"Stars" is symbolism for angels in the book of Revelation.

The Bible speaks of one archangel. Not many. Jude 1:9
How many archangels do you imagine they are, and what scripture do you use to conclude this?

There are 1 or more archangels:
Jude 1:9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

The Bible says the Chief of the angels - archangel - is Michael. One.
Are you saying you are guessing, and that we should all do that, instead of go with the scriptures?I have no means of tracking archangels.
You counted one.
So how many archangels are there, and how do you know that you have counted all of them?
