WOULD YOU TAKE THIS DEAL?

Post by Avoice »

Lets say you had a terminal illness. And you suffered the aches and pains of it. Then i came and told you i had a deal to offer you.. That you could live forever ...never die... never get sick... never grow old. But there is one catch. You have to endure five or six hours of excrutiating pain before you die. After which you spend three days in paradise. After that you are alive forever.

WOULD YOU TAKE THAT DEAL?
I would

Only a fool would turn down a deal like this.

JESUS SACRIFICED? WHAT DID HE SACRIFICE?
HE GOT THE DEAL OF A LIFETIME

Jesus always had the prospect of eternal life without suffering. So the real deal was,

A) you can continue to live forever without any pain

B) you can be demoted to a human, have a hard life, suffer an agonizing death and then continue live forever without pain.
This is like someone that already owns a Porche being asked... "I know the car is yours but would you like me to torture you for a day and then you can get back to owning your Porche?
A "sweet deal" doesnt usually involve suffering for what you already possess.

Depends on whom is offering the deal. Do I know them or are the a stranger? Are they trustworthy? Do they seem sane? What are they wearing? What's my condition? What's my future diagnosis? Are there anyone else that's taken the offer they could reference?
Granted desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose, but when the (seemingly) impossible is offered, do you take it sight unseen? That's for the individual to determine I guess

Not only did Jesus already have a 'sweet deal' but he didn't come to earth for a better deal. He came because he loves his Heavenly Father and has a fondness for mankind. Jesus doesn't think in selfish terms like, 'what's in this for me?'.

WHERE IS THE SACRIFICE?

Christisns say he lives. He didnt lose his life.

Suffer? I bet if you asked a woman in labor for hours would trade it for holes in her hands and feet.

Bottom line is this: You are goings to die.

BUT:
God offers you a deal: Suffer a few hours of excrutiating pain. In exchange you spend three days in paradise. After that you live forever.

How is that a sacrIfice? You won the lottery of a lifetime. You will have what we all desire: ETERNAL LIFE.

JESUS DIDN'T LOSE ANYTHING. just the opposite: He got everything. He sacrificed nothing. N-O-T-H-I-N-G

Better reread your bible.

Jesus didn't cone to do HIS will. And the words he speaks are NOT his.
He didn't come because HE wanted to come.

Truth of the matter is this: you worship an entity whom you no NOTHING ABOUT. Not really. You have no idea who he is. But he did say you can tell a tree by the fruit it produces. And what did Jesus accomplish? C'mon...what did he really do? He got people to worship him. An unknown entity. How did he do that? Read his parable if the sheep. He tells hiw the sheep wont follow a strange voice. But they will follow their masters voice. So all he had to do was convince people he came from God. He goes on to say that tge sherp are led away. Then the gate closes. This entity came in the flesh and got them to turn away from God's laws. THATS the fruit he produced. THAT'S what he did. EXACTLY WHAT HE DID. AND not just that but got them to call him their lord. Believing if they listen to him they are told they won't die. Oh my...the oldest trick in the book. Literally the oldest trick. They have until the gate closes to figure who they are following. They have until the day tgey die. After that they will learn about their lord. Got news for them - the voice that led them away isnt him. Figure it out.

"surely you won't die" I had to laugh, Avoice. It is literally the oldest trick in recorded history , anyway.

What multitudes ignore is what Jesus/Ieous/Yeshua/Yehoshu/Yeheshua taught. He taught strict observance to the Torah without the traditions of man which negated the law of God. He actually says its easier for heaven and earth to pass than one jot or tittle of the law.

What most also ignore is Jesus is a Jew and preached a Jewish revival. He specifically went after the then defunct kingdom of the Isreal as he said he only came for the lost sheep of Israel. He started no new religion. He called the Goyim back to covenant.

He started no religion. He made no "christians", not one. They were a hebrew sect called the way. Enter Greece, enter Rome. The rest is history.

Enter Greece. Enter Rome. Haaaaaa

Yeah, here comes the God with three heads. One head mankind has the power to kill.

Christianity is not based on Torah. Not even about what Jesus taught. Its Pauline doctrine. They obey some guy from Tarsus who died 2000 years ago. You get to eat bacon and not feel like a shmuk.

Jesus said "The Law and the Prophets were until John" so evidently the preaching of Jesus and John the Baptis signaled the start of a change in people's relationship with God. The Pharisees and those like them cling to the old because the don't appreciate the new.
