Allies or Spiritual enemies?
Post #1 My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

Post #2I don't consider people who have other religious ties to be my enemy. I feel that the teachings of their religious leaders are actually influenced by God and Christ's enemy Satan the Devil. The religious institutions that teach doctrines that conflict with Bible teachings are enemies of truth. How can these institutions be allies of God and his people if they are teaching falsehoods? There is either a fiery hell or there is not. There is either a three-Person God or there is not. How can both sides align themselves together?Elijah John wrote: Do you consider people from other denominations and religions allies or spiritual enemies. Do you consider them "lost"?

I don't consider anyone lost. We are not to judge. And every person has time to throw off false religions and get to know the one true God, the Father (Jehovah). John 17:3; Revelation chapters 17 and 18. God must feel strongly about false teachings, because he has said that all false religious institutions (pictured by Babylon the Great) will go down fast, like a stone pitched into the sea.
"And a strong angel lifted up a stone like a great millstone and hurled it into the sea, saying: 'Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again.'" (Rev. 18:21)
It would be to our benefit to "Get out of her!" (Rev. 18:4)

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and we teach that it is imperative that every one of us searches for the true God and get to know him, as Jesus said. Religions that don't include the Father, Jehovah, are obviously not the ones that teach truth. Religions that don't include Jehovah AND Jesus are obviously not the truth, according to the Bible. We must get to know the nature of Jehovah and his relationship with his Son. Is Jehovah just one of three Persons that have equal say in things? Or is he the "one true God?" It is important to know these things.
Jesus to the Father: "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3, NASB)
We don't consider anyone "lost" until Armageddon. That's when Jesus annihilates every wicked person who does not want to live in accordance with God's benevolent principles. He makes that judgment as to who is "lost".....we do not.

Re: Allies or Spiritual enemies?
Post #4In my pre-repentance years I believed just about every delusion offered by man about GOD...I tried them all on like a uniform that took years for me to settle on YHWH, HIS Messiah the Christ, the scriptures, Paul and John and each step winnowed me from all the others.Elijah John wrote: Do you consider people from other denominations and religions allies or spiritual enemies. My point is that though I now feel completely settled and solid, who was I before my full faith, an ally or an enemy? I look at someone who still believes what I used to believe but left behind and I just leave him to Christ. It is not my place to judge where they will end up though I may certainly have a considered opinion about their doctrine.
PCE Theology as I see it...
We had an existence with a free will in Sheol before the creation of the physical universe. Here we chose to be able to become holy or to be eternally evil in YHWH's sight. Then the physical universe was created and all sinners were sent to earth.
This theology debunks the need to base Christianity upon the blasphemy of creating us in Adam's sin.

Post #5Regardless of faith, denomination, belief.....so long as people leave me alone I don't consider them anything other than 'other people'. Once they try to impede on my life, then they make themselves my enemy (to use your word).Elijah John wrote: Do you consider people from other denominations and religions allies or spiritual enemies. The opposite would be my ally (again your word).
I'm not sure the world is that black and white - seems it's more fluid than static.
