OH Portland...

Portland has come up with a tough new tax, and they are gunna show those big bad ceo's a thing or two!

Basically companies that have a high ceo to worker wage gap get an extra 10-25% tax on doing business in Portland. This is meant to be tough on income inequality. The reality is this will simply drive up the cost of goods, do nothing against income inequality, and indirectly put a tax burden on the very people it is trying to help via the increased price of goods and services.

This will not adversely effect companies with high ceo to worker pay gaps, they will simply increase the price of their goods to cover the tax and maintain profits. Seeing as how this would more or less effect competition similarly save for small business, I doubt companies will bat an eye at this legislation.

If Trump new tax law has brought back businesses back into this country, then what do you think what will happen if Oregon execute their new tax law? The state of Oregon will be a ghost town or state. Only visitors will come to that state just to only feed the bears. The reason why Obama and Hillary administration were raising taxes? that they were helping out corporations that has given them money. Like Lockheed Martin needs customers to by their new advance weapons just in case a war breaks out. Just anybody doesn't has the money to buy them. But the country's government does has the tax payers money to buy them. Right now, the creators of GMO's are having problems finding people to buy their products. The middle class and the upper class are all starting not to buy it. Only that leaves the poor. But the poor doesn't has the money, unless, they raises up their food stamps benefits with tax payer's dollars. And so then, now corporations can start the flow of money coming in. But if the poor get hold of the knowledge about their products and doesn't buys it, then they will never raises their food stamps benefits to make them starve for food. So that they will not be picky anymore.
