How can the Republicans control a nation, when they can't control one man?

It could be that we are about to witness the downfall of America. After all, no nation on earth has ever remained in power continually. All nations fall, it may well be time for the USA to fall.

I believe that if Trump becomes President the USA will crash and burn almost instantly. It will certainly no longer be what the USA used to stand for.

If Hillary gets in not much will have changed. All throughout history many presidents were less than perfect. The fact that Hillary "cheats" (is basically a criminal) wouldn't necessarily cause the USA to crash and burn. She could still do a fairly decent job of keeping the USA powerful whilst she continues to get filthy rich from crooked political deals. That really wouldn't but much different from what ALWAYS goes on anyway.

So between Hillary and Trump, Hillary is definitely the best thing for the USA by far.

But I agree, it would be nice to have someone honest as a president. I personally think Obama was pretty darn honest. He even tried to work with the republicans. Although that's was his greatest downfall, IMHO.

Bernie Sanders might make a good president too, but will he actually get that far? It certainly doesn't appear that way currently. But who knows what the future will bring? A LOT can happen between now and November.

Bernie is simply "divide and conquer" assuring the dems don't win. Hillary couldn't win 8 years ago, she's eight years older, and demonstrated incompetent. (Benghazi).

It really embarrasses me that I have always been a Republican!

We are simply reaping the whirlwind which we sowed.

For eight years the only Republican goal was to get President Obama out of office.

Now, the United States is already suffering from a clown becoming the Republican candidate.

My apologies to President Obama, all veterans, Mexico, Great Britain, Muslims, women, all minorities, . . . and others who will be humiliated in the future.

I think our only real hope is that Ryan takes back the lawmaking powers and forces those in the house to do their jobs. I would prefer a shrinking of government, but just having lawmakers make the laws and be held accountable for them would be great.
