Radicalism: What to do?

We all know that radical anything is usually bad. Every religion has gone through a time period of radicalism, just as Islam is doing so lately. I propose that we put our heads together to combat militant Islam. I have a solution that I think many would agree with as the biggest answer.

Educate people. Look at Pakistan, an Islamic country. Most families cannot afford to educate their children because the country has a terrible educational system. The answer then is to send their children to Maddrassah's (forgive me if I spelled wrong.) Im not sure exactly what they teach but im pretty sure its radical Islam the Taliban recruit students from these religious schools. Instead of hunting down these Taliban, hit them at the source. We can keep the war going, but we should attack from a different angle. Help the Islamic countries build themselves, help their educational systems. If we educate the children and help their countries, it'll be a lot harder for them to view us as warmongers. As it is im pretty sure the drone attacks blowing up places doesn't help our image.

The islamic jihadists who flew the planes into the buildings on 9 11 where all muslims from the richest islamic nation on earth Saudi Arabia, they where educated and from well to do families.

The islamic jihadists who bombed the trains and bus in london where all educated, Their leader was in fact a School teacher in Britain.

And osama bin larden is a very educated man coming from a very wealthy family from Saudi Arabia.

So this common belief that islamic jihadists are un educated young men from refugee camps is a popular but false belief. Many of the most devout and motivated jihadists come from educated backgrounds; they come from the materially wealthy section of the islamic population.

I dont think he is referring to Al Qaeda. He is talking about the Taliban, where it is known that they purposefully target teachers and schools along with other things.

I dont get how you got socialism involved but I dont think ignoring the illiteracy rate is going to help. If we can educate the children in countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan, we can stop the Taliban.
