Does the true God have a body of flesh and bone?

Does the true God have a body of flesh and bone?

According to scripture God and all of us including Christ have a spirit body.

According to the scriptures all of us including Jesus Christ are the literal spirit children of God the father.

According to the New Testament Christs body was crucified and killed. His spirit body however was never dead, for between the death of his physical body his spirit body went unto the spirits in prison and preached repentance unto those who had previously died. This was done before his glorious resurrection.

So do we all including Christ have an immortal body of flesh and bone after our resurrection?

Can you give me the verse?
The question of this thread is,"So do we all including Christ have an immortal body of flesh and bone after our resurrection?"

I would believe Jesus is, as the verse says the same Jesus.
Acts 1:11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."(NIV)
You may remember that the clouds took him out of the disciples' sight. That is how he will come back----invisibly to the naked eye. He took on a spirit body when he was resurrected, and appeared to people by taking on a physical body so they could see him, and then reverted back to his spiritual body, just like the angels who appeared to Abraham and Lot did.
When Jesus comes the second time with angels, do you mean for all to see them they will be in physical body?
No. Jesus said that the world would see him no more.(John 14:19) People would "see" him with the eyes of faith; they would understand what will be happening. Jesus indicated that at Matthew 16:9 (see also Matthew 13:14,15). "See" would mean understand. Jesus will return spiritually, invisibly, like when the clouds took him up from the disciples' sight when he left (Acts 1:9). But we will know that he's here. (It would be interesting if he showed up visibly riding a white horse! But I don't think that would happen, in view of the things he said about the world seeing him no more.)

It seems that your interpretation contradict this verse, In Jesus coming every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. And "see" defined by lexicon as to be seen, to be visible, within the range of sight.
NT:3700 optanoo - to be seen by or to be visible to, in the sense of being within the range of sight - 'to be seen by, to be visible to.'
(from Greek-English Lexicon Based on Semantic Domain.)

Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.(NKJV)

The man that Pierce him died thousand of years ago, how will he see Jesus when he (Jesus) returns?

It seems that your interpretation contradict this verse, In Jesus coming every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. And "see" defined by lexicon as to be seen, to be visible, within the range of sight.

To "see" also can mean "to understand." I'm surprised your source doesn't say that, because Jesus spoke about "seeing" as understanding. (Matthew 13:14,15)

"And toward them the prophecy of Isaiah is having fulfilment, which says, 'By hearing, you will hear but by no means get the sense of it; and, looking, you will look but by no means see.' For the heart of this people has grown unreceptive, and with their ears they have heard without response, and they have shut their eyes that they might never see with their eyes and hear with their ears and get the sense of it...'"

Obviously he wasn't talking about their literal ears and eyes. He was clearly speaking about their willingness to understand, so they might "turn back" and get healed.

So when Jesus said that all eyes would "see" him he meant everyone will understand the truth about him.

Strong does not define it as "understand"

KJV - appear, look, see, shewself.

Lexicon define "ekkentéœ" [to put out, pierce] as those who crucified Him.

NT:1574 Rev 1:7 relates the same OT verse to the expected return of Christ. Those who crucified him, both Jews and Gentiles, will see him when he comes and will be stricken by tardy remorse and fear of judgment.
