First, I think that we all agree that it's important to promote understanding, respect, and equality for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation. Everyone should be treated with dignity and allowed to express their identity without fear of discrimination or harm.


Question for debate is LGTBQIA2S+ a harmless social contagion, or are there serious unintended consequences awaiting the individuals and societies that are going down this road?

Logical fallacy: ad hominem

Ad hominem is a Latin term for arguments that attack the person making a claim rather than the claim itself.

No. You've got that wrong.
If you do use ad-hominem you're not attacking a person, but their claim (whatever that might be).
In effect you would be saying that this person's claim must be correct because they are (for example) a professor of that subject. So ad-hominem claims this person is right because of who they are and not because of their reasoning.

When someone sees everything upside down and backwards, they see love as hatred and good as evil, logic as illogical, etc.

Approximately 4500 years ago, when the Earth had become so corrupt and evil that it was FILLED with violence and wickedness/selfishness (Gen. 6:5-13), virtually no one was learning how to be good (Gen. 1:26). God -- Who is Love -- sent the flood. The flood destroyed all human life except for Noah and his family (his wife and three sons and their wives), who were the only ones left listening to and obeying God, and genuinely striving to be good.

Humans see this act as hateful and tyrannical, because all of the humans died except for Noah and his family, and that's all a human can see.

Most see it as a myth and a allegory for a moral lesson.

However, in reality, it was ONLY the humans that died, so that the spiritual-Beings (souls) inside of those humans could then be sent back inside the descendants of Noah's sons, giving each of those souls a new opportunity to learn to be good, in a family that actually believed God, which is why Noah and his family were saved from the flood.

THESE TIMES ARE JUST LIKE THE DAYS OF NOAH (Matt. 24:37-39), where the Earth has again been corrupted and is FILLED with violence and wickedness. A time where most are so utterly insane they argue against reason and common-sense, and ignore all of the warnings provided to them for everyone's benefit, because they are blinded by their own ignorance and arrogance (which always go hand-in-hand).

No one in their right (spiritual) mind) could possibly think that the UNNATURAL and VILE practice of homosexuality is somehow natural and okay. Only a human, who sees everything upside down and backwards, could believe in such an obvious LIE. We all have the free-will to choose between good and evil, but it requires correctly seeing good and evil through spiritual eyes (as God, Who is a Spirit sees things), rather than incorrectly, through human eyes.

Please choose wisely.

You're trying to argue that up is allegedly down and that evil is allegedly good and that unnatural supposedly isn't against nature, etc., which will NEVER work.

An abomination IS without question a sin (crime). Sin is breaking The Law that God gave us, which is the ONLY Law there is on this planet.

The very fact that the ABOMINATION of homosexuality is a CAPITAL CRIME proves you don't know what you're talking about.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an ABOMINATION: they shall SURELY be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.

Anyone with even a modicum of common sense should immediately recognize that the male and female body parts were designed to fit together as they should and the result can NATURALLY produce LIFE (offspring). The same is very obviously NOT true for sex with the same gender, the latter of which can and does cause disease and death.

The goal of all human life here on Earth is to learn SELF-CONTROL and SELF-DISCIPLINE, neither of which can be achieved by giving in to one's ANIMALISTIC urges, and the sick, twisted minds that drive such urges.

While the cutting down of oxygen-producing trees every year for a pagan ritual is also thoughtless and destructive (which is why it too is condemned as unlawful), if you wish to talk about X-mas trees and the pagan/heathen Yuletide/Saturnalia/X-mas -- which has absolutely NOTHING to do with the birth of Jesus -- then start another thread.

If this god concept doesn't like homosexuals, why does he make so many of them?

Question for A Freeman:
Could you walk into a gay bar, watch a man dance on stage and choose to get aroused? Or would you get aroused and there is really nothing you could do to stop it?

Choosing to have feelings for the same sex is not something I'm capable of. It is not a choice for me. Are you able to choose to be homosexual? Must you actively fight such urges and if so, does attacking homosexuality help you to deal with your own latent homosexuality (Ted Haggard comes to mind)?
